My 9 year old loves these pencils! They are durable and the colors are great. We bought a second set once he had used up most of the colors.

Great watercolor pencils! I love the pairings of colors, two per pencil. They complement each other and blend well. The watercolor pencils have a soft feel as I color. The colors are strong and look good used as dry pencils. They also blend readily with a touch of water. The brush included with the pencil set is quite nice. The bristles have a good spring and it holds a point.I used these watercolor pencils alongside crayons on a coloring book page from "The Answer to All Division". Note the dry watercolor pencil details on the kitten's fur. Note the wet watercolor pencil detail around the kitten's eyes. On another page from the same coloring book, please note the beautiful sky tones and the variegated plumage of the bird using watercolor pencils both wet and dry.This set would make a good gift. I will buy it again.

Ideal for introducing younger artists to a broader color palette!Excellent quality; beautiful colors; practical tube container efficiently stores & protects all 50 dual-sided pencils.*In order to help my young niece keep track of the colors/pencils, I numbered the pencils 1-50.To make the process easier, I cut tiny rectangles around the numbers written on sticky notes, which allowed me to stick numbers to pencils before securing them with a single layer of narrow transparent tape, wrapped around the barrel of each pencil.My niece then created a color chart featuring 2 colors per numbered pencil, and she’s delighted with her beautiful pencil set!

The pencils are normal pencil size, so they may be a little small for tiny hands but my grandkids are 5 and 7 and used them easily. The colors are vibrant and since the pencils are double sided, with a different color on each end - there's LOTS of choices for the money.

The neon colored pencils are vibrant. The metallic pencils lay down smoothly and the metallic is equivalent if not a little better then the Castle Art metallic pencils. The triangular design of these pencils makes them very easy to hold and comfortable to color with. I recommend them for anyone who has some tendinitis / arthritis issues. I find them to be much less of a stress on my thumbs.

I like the shape of the color pencils and the way the colors make the picture look. I really don't like not knowing the name of the color I'm using to color my picture.
