The AC200P is a 2000 watt-hour power station, with long-lasting Lithium Iron Phosphate cells. It has a pure sine wave AC inverter capable of 2000 watts sustained current, and will surge up to 4800 watts. There are 6 AC outlets, 4 standard 5 volt/3 amp USB outlets, one USB C with up to 60 watts output, two 3 amp barrel outlets for 12 volt, one 10 amp “cigarette lighter” outlet for 12 volts, a 12 volt 25 amp aviation port (aviation refers to the type of plug, not the intended use), and two 15 watt wireless charging stations on top. That’s a lot of capability! The AC200P is similar in every detail to the wildly popular AC200, which sold thousands of units on an Indiegogo campaign in the summer of 2020. The only difference is the switch to Lithium Iron Phospate cells, with an increase of 300 watt-hours over the 1700 available on the AC200.The AC200/P is the successor to the EB150 and EB240 power stations, which took the world by storm when they were released in 2019. The combination of large capacity, portability and price still make them a popular choice. Their AC inverter is limited to 1000 watts (1200 surge), which for some applications is not sufficient. Maxoak got the message loud and clear, and put a much more powerful inverter (and more AC outlets) in the AC200/P. For many people, the EB series is still preferable. The AC200P weighs in at 60.6 pounds. This is at the high end of what I’d call a portable power station. The built-in handles work great, and one reasonably fit person can move it around, but I plan to find a good location and leave it there, and I reckon most people will do the same. The AC200P has a built-in fan to keep it cool when needed. It seems my CPAP doesn’t draw enough current to cause the fan to kick on, so it is perfectly quiet all night long. In situating the unit, be sure to leave space for the fan to draw air without straining. A four-inch margin on all sides will be sufficient.I’m not going to go further into technical specifications. For those who are unfamiliar with these products, there are numerous reviews on YouTube which go into considerable detail on the technical aspects. I highly recommend two channels for this purpose: DIY Solar With Will Prowse, and Hobotech. Both of these presenters are kind of quirky, but their information is impeccable and thorough. My goal is to provide information on usage rather than specs. In my world, that boils down to 4 principal uses: CPAP, ham radio, emergency preps, and camping. Rather than do one long video covering all of those, I’ll present several short videos, focusing on one use-case at a time. I’ll post links here as the videos are published. Today, we’re looking at the CPAP.I live in hurricane country, in Eastern North Carolina. We have been through some doozies in the decades I’ve lived here, including Hurricanes Floyd and Florence, which devastated the whole region, and several smaller ones like Fran and Irene which had a major impact but not as wide-spread. In addition to hurricanes, we have power outages due to occasional severe storms, ice storms, and sometimes for no discernible reason. If the power goes out at night, I don’t want my CPAP to stop working. So I use a power station at all times for the CPAP. Some of you may want to do the same, and came here for information on how to do this.I’ve had the AC200P for a month and have been using it for my CPAP that entire time. Every night before turning on the CPAP I take a photo of the screen, and again upon waking up, so I have a series of photos showing the percentage of battery used each night. My conclusions are drawn from that data.My CPAP is a Philips Dreamstation. It is a quiet and efficient machine. With the humidifier, it draws an average of 50 watts per hour over an 8 hour period. When first turned on, as the humidifier heats up the water, the current is higher. After the water has heated up, the current drops. Without the humidifier, the average power needed is 10-12 watts. Clearly, for a long-term power outage or off-grid camping (boondocking), if you can get along without the humidifier, you will extend the usage considerably.I’ve powered the CPAP with both the AC power brick that came with it, and with a 12 volt adapter which I purchased separately. I also ran the CPAP with and without the humidifier. While I prefer the humidifier for everyday use, in a lengthy power outage I would disconnect it, as the humidifier more than doubles the current needed. On average, with the humidifier, on the 12 volt outlet, I will lose about 20% battery capacity per night, so it could run at least 4 and maybe 5 nights without recharging. On the AC inverter, it loses 25% or more, which would be 3-4 nights. If your CPAP has a 12 volt adapter cord, that’s the way to go.Without the humidifier, at 10-12 watts per hour on the 12 volt port, I could get easily 10 days’ use. In a power outage situation, if it went on this long, we would bug out to another location, as there would be other issues affecting our safety and comfort besides just the lack of electricity. For camping, this would be very useful. For everyday use, I leave the AC200P turned on all the time. If I were maximizing it, I would turn it off when not using it, since with the 12 volt system turned on, it loses around 1% per hour when nothing is drawing current. The 12 volt regulation circuitry takes some power and produces this loss. If the AC inverter is turned on, the drain is much higher. This is another good reason to invest in a 12 volt power cord for your CPAP.The AC200P has pass-through charging, which means you can use it while it is plugged into either the wall charger or solar power. In my current home, I don’t have a solar power set-up, so I use the wall charger to keep it powered. I prefer not to leave the wall charger active at all times, and it will shorten the life of the battery cells to keep them at 100%. So I have the wall charger plugged into a smart outlet, which is programmed to recharge the AC200P for a couple of hours, every other day. Basically, I run the unit between 20-80% state of charge, which is recommended by many experts as providing the greatest longevity for batteries with a lithium chemistry. Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries already have a great lifetime, so I’m not so worried about that. But since it’s simple enough to do, why not? The smart outlet I use is rated for 3 times the amperage that the wall charger draws, which is a generous safety factor. If you choose to use a smart outlet, I suggest you follow this plan.We had a brief power outage during the night, the first week I had the AC200P. The only way I know this is that the clock on the stove and microwave were blinking when I got up. The CPAP never stopped, because it wasn’t plugged into the grid.Prior to getting the AC200P, I was using a Bluetti EB150 for the CPAP. While the EB150 has nominally 500 watts less than the AC200P, I get a couple more nights of CPAP use out of it under the same conditions described above. I believe, although I can’t prove, that the 12 volt regulation circuitry is more efficient in the EB150 and thus the drain during the day is less. Again, in a long-term power outage or boondocking situation, I would turn either battery off during the day to avoid parasitic loss.Either of these – the AC200P or the EB150 – would do the job for my CPAP over a week’s use or more. I see the EB150 as better for 12 volt usage, and the AC200P as optimized for AC. For that reason, I will be moving the AC200P downstairs where I would have a need for AC in a power outage, and return the EB150 to CPAP service.Full disclosure: I received an AC200P from Maxoak in order to do this review. The testing is all mine, and they did not ask to see this review before it was published. You might be seeing it before they do.I hope this review is helpful for all of my fellow CPAP users. I will also be testing other power stations, such as the newer Bluetti AC30, a light-weight, mid-range power station with different applications. That’s all for now.

Do you like to sit in the dark when the power goes out? neither do I. This was the primary reason I bought the Bluetti AC200P. With 2K hour battery and 2k power inverter built in this unit was up to the task. This is how I'm using it. I bought a 4 circuit transfer switch and had a professional electrician install it. I chose 4 circuits from my home's fuse box that ran most of the things I wanted to keep running when the power goes out. Lights in the living room, bathrooms and bedrooms. tv and entertainment and wifi router and the refrigerator. We rarely lose power for more than 3 or 4 hours. Most times it's much less. I did a dry run with the Bluetti. I cut the power from the main breaker and from the transfer switch powered on the 4 circuits from the Bluetti. Worked flawlessly. The Bluetti powered what I needed it to for more than 3 hours and at that time it was still at 46% capacity. Which means in the event of a power outage I could most likely run for about 5 hours. In the event of a known outage that will extend longer, I could extend that time by turning some items off. The other great thing about the Bluetti is it can be charged from an AC wall outlet, gas generator or solar. I had been planning on having solar panels installed on my roof so as an addition to the project I'm having 2 400W panels installed but not connected to the main array but having the leads run into the house and connected to the Bluetti. This will allow me to charge the Bluetti during the day providing there is enough sunlight. The bluetti can accept upto 700 watts in from solar. This should allow me to charge the unit during the day. If the power outage is localized, I could always drive to a friends house and charge from AC. This unit has so many uses, mine is just one. Now the unit is not really that portable at 62lbs. It's portable but at 62lbs your not going to be carrying it very far. The majority of the weight is the batteries. Not much you can do about that. But the batteries are the new generation lithium ion that can be charged up to 3500 times and still retain 80% of their storage capacity. This means that it will easily last many years. You can also buy expansion batteries to add capacity at 2k a piece. You could expand it 6k or more. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I havn't even scratched the surface of this thing. Lot's of you tube video's if you want to see more.1yr review - it's been a year and the ac200p has worked flawlessly. I have since purchased 4 bB230 expansion batteries bringing my backup power reserve to over 10KWh. I have 2 405watt solar panels mounted on my roof that I can charge from during the day. At night I run half my house off of battery power and recharge them the next day while I'm at work. On the weekends I run off the batteries most of the day. If it's mostly sunny the power generated by my solar panels easily keeps up with my power consumption during the day and I rarely need to charge the batteries from the AC wall charger. I've not had a power outage during this time but just knowing I have backup power should I lose power is a great comfort. I don't worry about losing power since I'm now prepared for it.

The original first unit arrived 2 days after I ordered it. That was amazing given this is a 60lb beast. Unfortunately, the unit that I received had a BMS fault that prevented it from working. After contacting the seller, Maxtar New Ener. replied promptly and sent me a second unit within two days which I am happy to report functioned really well. I am a happy customer. Kudos to the seller for impeccable customer service. I have recharged it, tested it with a hair dryer pulling 1300 W and ran my CPAP device for one night draining only about 17% of the battery reserve (your mileage may vary depending on number of hours used and whether heating is on or off). I will need to do more tests over the next while such as running my portable12V camping fridge. I wasn't able to test some of the DC ports but the USB A ports, 12V car charging port, wireless charging, and all AC ports functioned correctly. This is only an initial test and impression. I hope the unit will continue to function well in the years to come.Update 25 Oct 2021I have gotten back from a two+ week car camping road trip. The AC200P performed reliably with no issues. It powered the 12V fridge during the day and evenings when it is not being charged through the car's 12V outlet. Even with camping sites with electrical hookups, I still left the 12V fridge hooked up to the AC200P and connected the electrical to the power brick to top up the power station and another extension cord to the tent to power electrical devices and my CPAP. This kept the power station fully charged and provided safe clean power to my electronic devices. There was one site for two days with no electrical and I tried charging with solar with three 200W panels. Unfortunately, the site was quite shaded with tall trees everywhere and it was cloudy. So, I got just enough charge to replenish the power lost through charging the fridge. With my heavy electrical usage, running the 12V fridge two days, my CPAP device 8 hours per night for two nights, I ran the battery down to about 15%. So, in summary, I got about two days of power. Fortunately, my stay at this site was only for two days. When camping, don't choose a site that is too shaded. The unit has performed reliably and running out of power is only due to my heavy usage and blaming myself for choosing an overly shaded campsite. There were ways I could have optimized the power consumption but this was my first time using it. Still a happy camper.

tl;dr for the money, this is the simplest way to go off grid. You CAN use it as your daily driver solar system. Just don't expect miracles, there is more to it than just plugging in a solar panel.I have used the AC200P every day for the last 14 months living off grid with very few problems. There is a learning curve, but far less than a diy PV system or residential-scale all-in-one systems.Note: there are only 1500 w to use, not 2000, which was infuriating until I learned to use it efficiently.Do not fool yourself into thinking you will just plug in a solar panel and have unlimited power forever. If you actually want to use it for an off-grid living situation, the unit needs to be paired with a) a wind turbine or pico hydro setup; b) a small, low db generator and a second AC charging connector, or c) both in an ideal world. For a weekend cottage trip, in a vehicle, or for general purpose use like on a job site, however, it is an incredible tool.I have used it to run many 120v appliances, but pay close attention to the total wattage as overload will trigger the auto-shut off. My DC fridge runs year-round without issue and have left the AC200P on a full charge, without PV input, for 72 hours with a small charge still left.If the unit shuts after you use all the charge, you must wait until it charges to about 3-4% before switching turning things on again. This caused a lot of anger before figuring it out.Eventually I did upgrade to a massive system with a 12kW lithium battery and 10kW inverter, but in hindsight I would have just purchased another Bluetti system with wifi monitoring and expandable capacity.

Purchased the bluetti ac200p may of 2021.Used it only 2 weekends in 2021.I have 600 watts of panels on my solar array. This year I've used it for 5+ weeks 24/7 straight. I do plan on using it for 2 more weeks but I have issues now and it's now usable at this point.1-The major issue is the ac wall charger shorted out in the inverter causing the bluetti only to charge on solar.2-Which comes to my second issue is 6 times so far I would have 30+% on the bluetti and it would shut off and say it's 0%. It did this when the ac charger stopped working and now I can't use the bluetti because it has to start with ac power when it's 0%.3- 10+ times during the 5 weeks the inverter (ac) and dc would randomly switch off while the unit was 80%+. (Which would spoil the food in the fridge after 6 ish hours more than once)-inverter is inefficient. I'm losing 2-3.5% per hour on the unit with nothing connected. So if you have the unit 100%, in less than 30 hours it is 0%.Update:Customer service was pretty slow. But I owned the bluetti for 16 months and they just got me to return the unit on there dime and got a full refund. So in the end they backed there product and I can order a newer product from them

was ok when working but was not looking enought or use it alot's but now after 1 year power drop 60% to nothing and stop and charge too 99% and don't stop, another problem you can get is unit charge and go from 80% goes up in sec to 100% i have see this too on another and stop charge look for those problems in your first month and hope the machine don't do this after 1 month, because after that good chance you will not get your money back,Buyer beware after the initial 1 month on amazon warranty on this ,kinda hard to be apply in Canada Customer service told me because my purchase is over 1 year and because they are out of stock they could not replace my machine??? and it's 24months warranty, customer service help almost no there except too ask questions and video or picture, will update with video soon, don't buy for 2000$ and a fuzzy 2years warranty almost not real,,chance are you will get a defect unit, they use bad cells im stuck with a over 2200$ machine defect and when i try to talk customer new guy who don't seem too know much about ac200p and is kinda rude,i suggest you if you try maxoak be sure to do alo'ts of test on your machine because they cells are not good when the first of those was create ,all cells power was visible on menu now they have hide this, because it would be more easy for customer to see the bad cell on the menu!!!,i will put the video on my Youtube channel with the name ac200p bluetti maxaok from amazon ca defect look for it the small video version will be here too, don't buy and the other more recent model seem to have problems too look for 1 star review

FYI, I have been running this unit everyday for almost 2 years.Pros: This is in a work mobile vehicle field situation where it may get drained to 0%, and then recharged over night every night. It has sat in my car as a secondary power source all that time and have been through hot summers and cold winters. So I have beaten this thing pretty good. It is still running like a champ. No issues with supplying the power I need which is roughly 300-500w for several hours work. What I really like is, if I need to take it out and use it somewhere else, it's possible and fairly easy. A traditional fixed secondary battery in car this not possible. This is a huge advantage to me.Cons: the dc charging from 12v car voltage doesn't seem to work??, I've changed the setting to PV input car and still no good. I have checked dc voltage from car and it is steady 12v so something in the 200p isn't right.2nd. The screen doesn't seem to update refresh always. I run it all day, maybe down to 20%, then I'll plug it in overnight so I know there is 100% by next morning. However, the screen may say still 20-30%. What you need to do is power it all off, and then reboot then the screen seems to update. Weird?[2023]: update: still runs strong, I have bought the dc to dc charger for car charging and it works well, maybe 90W input steady from car.[2023]: update: for this price I'm pretty impressed. Conclusion so far: for this price it is the best option IMO for a secondary aux battery source in an overnight car camper or field work solution, it's a champ. It's very solid and reliable over 2 years of daily use.

I live in an area that has experienced several electrical blackouts during the last year which lasted up to twelve hours. By using three Bluetti Power Stations (EB 40, 70, and 150) I was able to keep my house alarm system, internet modem and router, and small TV active during the two blackouts. After the last blackout I began a search for a larger and more capable power station to be able to keep my deep freezer functioning for a prolonged period to preserve all the expensive meat and frozen items. My research led me to seek a new power station that had a large capacity LiFePO4 battery- known for its safety, long life, and ability to deep discharge without damage. Also important was some portability and solar recharging. The product that best met my criteria was the Bluetti AC300 + B300 Power Station. The Master Module and the battery are separate units and can stack and are connected for use by a supplied cable. Each unit was able to be moved around my house using a furniture dolly and then quickly reassembled for use. Because the system is modular, up to three more batteries can be added in the future. After my initial assembly, I charged it up to 100% in a short period of time using the AC input and then connected the AC300 control unit to my iPhone using the user friendly Bluetti app and also my home wifi system. I now have the ability to monitor the system remotely. I spent the next several days using the new Bluetti System in emergency situations to assess its capabilities. First, I moved it to my garage and plugged in my freezer (155 W intermittent) and ran it for 24 hours without any recharging. Next I added two solar panels to test the solar recharging and pass thru power ability. Over there next day thanks to the sun, I was able to keep the freezer running and partially recharge the battery. I next recharged my electric bicycle batteries which went well. Next was my 12 V refrigerator which could run for an extended time with some solar assist. My CPAP which uses 24 V DC ran perfectly even using the heated hose and humidifier. Lastly, my wife and I used it as a massive recharging station. I can't say enough about the versatility and power of the new Bluetti Home Backup System. I will now store it in my house near an AC plug and keep it around d 70% for storage because I know that I can use solar if needed for recharging. I am totally pleased about the build quality, ease of use, portability, safety, and peace of mind that I am much better able to cope with a future long term power outage.

This powerhouse more than doubled my capacity and it is slightly shorter than the solar generator, making it even easier to tuck into a secure location. The accessory cable to connect to the generator is a bit short and thick, but it works great.

It's important to understand that no electronic device is going to be problem-free. There will be issues from time to time, which is why vendors release firmware updates. As an I.T. professional, I keep my products updated, because I know the vendors know more than me about what's going on with the internal firmware of their products. However, sometimes firmware doesn't work as intended. That was the situation I had with my BLUETTI Portable Power Station AC300 & B300. I ran into a questionable situation, and others online recommended checking for an update. After applying the update, the immediate problem was fixed, but I ran into a new one. The PV (solar) input was no longer charging above 250W, even though formerly it would get up to as much as 1.1KW. I reached out to support, and they responded quickly, kept me updated, and provided me with an update to the firmware on one of the components. All of this happened within a few days total. With many vendors, it takes weeks of back and forth, fighting to make your point. Anson was the name of the representative who helped me, and Anson was extremely professional, direct and concise with communication, and provided first-response resolution to my issue.Thank you to the entire Bluetti team! I look forward to expanding my ownership of your product line.

Currently a brick. Won’t run anything. It’s full at 100 percent but there is no electricity flow. Everything I plug in will not work. No output power. I’m talking to Bluetti. Will update as soon as have a response. Date: (19 September 2023), (October 01 2023)Have been helped by Bluetti and most of my issues have been resolved. 4 Stars. I found both items when prime days on Amazon rolled around but then found it even cheaper by 200 dollars a week or so after prime days and sent that info through Amazon to bluetti so I could get the price match for both of the items. They really, really didn’t want to match the price I found and it took a month with me getting a Amazon manager to help me send the info again and again with each time them giving me a little more refund each time. I initially wanted to buy 2 B300s but with them waffling on price matching the items I was unable to purchase the second one as a month had already passed. I was thinking of asking for them to price match a second B300 but I’m just not happy with how I was treated by their customer service support team and the hours it took to get the items price matched. They were very prompt with replies and well within the 48 hours every single time. I finally got the price match I found but can’t get the second B300 as 30 days have passed. It’s a very nice setup and comes with adequate instructions for there use. I’ll have to wait until the B300 goes on sale again to complete my setup which is unfortunate. We used the setup on a weekend trip and it performed flawlessly and we had some panels hooked up to keep it adequately charged. We were able to charge everything we needed at any given time and are excited to see how it does on a extended 5 day stay camping we are planning. I’m at 3 stars currently and time will tell the tale of its operation. I’ll update periodically. 29 December 2023, 1 Stars. Just horrible customer service. Nobody there seems to know anything about any of the products they sell. What a whopping waste of a lot of my money. Zero Stars.

I got this panel to alleviate energy anxiety while car camping for several weeks. I had tried using a heavy duty battery backup unit and it's performance was terrible and I had to rely on my friend's solar panel system to keep everything charged. This model was the only company that would ship to Alaska, and they were having a sale, so it was an easy choice to make. The folding solar panel is fantastic. Easy to store. and includes a large, zippered pouch that I use to store all of the adapter cables. Though it was rated for 120 watts, I was able to get as high as 106W on the test that I did, and I am more than happy with that given the portable nature of the solar panel. The panel also has metal eye holes on the side so you can hang them from a rope attached to a tree, your car, etc. I used them for charging the battery in the morning and as a sun shade. My only complaint is that the folding legs are secured by velcro, and this velcro is very hard to separate. Once the folding leg touches the velcro again it's instantly secured. This is great for most things, just not for when I'm trying to unfold all the legs. Hold the panel gently at 45 degrees and that should make the four legs (one for each panel section) less obnoxious to pry apart. It took me a few times to figure out how to do this without smudging the panels with my fingerprints. This panel is so sensitive that those fingerprints will slightly decrease your efficiency.I was able to charge an iPhone 11 using the included magnetic wireless charger built into the battery unit and it performed flawlessly. I also like how I can toggle DC and AC power. In between charging the iPhone, an iPad, my friend's Android phone, a battery bank, and a drone battery, I was able to do it all just from the solar panel in the middle of the day with a clear sky, pulling 75 watts to charge but having 90 to 106 watts of input from the sun. Pretty incredible. Overcast days range from 10W to 40W depending on the angle of the sun and the thickness of the clouds. Still sufficient for keeping your smartphone and/or tablet charged.Gas generators tend to be cheaper and output more power in the short term, but I need the gas that I carry for emergencies and didn't want to deal with the noise or the smell. This solar option is quiet, truly portable, and I will be buying a second solar panel next summer for even faster charging. The panels can be daisy-chained as long as you stay under 300 watts (on this particular 500Wh battery system).

The description for the Bluetti AC50S and the SP120 combination said, at the time of my purchase, there is (Include 2Pcs 120W Foldable Solar Panel), this is an incorrect description, I believe they have changed the description to 1 pc. Do not let this stop you from buying this combination set. The single SP120 Solar panel is all that is needed to charge the AC50S.I contacted Max Oak, because I did not receive the SP120 #2 and wondered where it was. The Customer service is very gracious and explained the confusion very well. This is a great company to buy from, I have no doubt that if I need any Customer Support in the Future, they will be there for me.As far as a review of this Solar Generator, WOW! what an amazing device. I plugged my 20" LED TV, and amplified Speakers into the AC inverter while I was charging my cell phone and my Wifi Hotspot, all at the same time and the AC50S had LOTS of power to spare. I was using only 29watts AC and 8watts DC. I have not had the chance to use the Solar Panel, it has been raining since it was delivered yesterday, but it is very well made and I have no doubt it will perform as expected. The stitching on the fabric case is very nicely done, the materials used to construct this portable Solar Panel are all very excellent materials. I can see this will last for years. You will not be disappointed if you buy this. Do not expect this to power your Microwave Oven, or a Toaster, or Coffee pot, this unit is not designed for that level of power. Bluetti makes other Solar Generators of much higher wattage if you need that degree of functionality. But for devices under 300 watt consumption this AC50S it awesome. This is very light weight, very portable, the handles are strong but fold down flat and are completly out of the way, the color portion of this is a soft silicone rubbery like material that takes any sharp edges off of this unit, and it looks really nice. The plugs are all very strong made and when you plug something into the Bluetti, you can feel it is a very postitve connection. Plus the AC50S and SP120 come with a 2 year warranty. You can not ask for more. You will love this device combo.

I have had this setup for around 10 months. I've used it maybe 7 times and the solar panel does NOT charge it. I'm not sure if the panel is defective or what. I can charge it from an electrical outlet, but not from the panel. Kinda seems like a rip-off. Also, when I do have it charged I'm lucky to charge a couple cell phones on it before it's completely drained. I contacted the seller and they're trying to make me feel like it's user error instead of a bad product. Even though I read the manual and followed everything correctly.

After researching online for battery backups, ordered this one to power laptop/router/phone during CA rolling blackouts. Received it yesterday and it was at 80% charge. Plugged in the 120W SP and was getting around 90-93W from the panel. After two days charging in the sun for a total of 10 hours my battery is still at 80%. Contacted MaxOak Direct through Amazon, hoping the response is within a few days. Others have said the customer support is terrible. Hoping this is just a bad unit.UPDATE: I am updating this review to 5 stars because of the service I received from MaxOak. After submitting pictures to MaxOak of the problem with the unit, they sent out a replacement unit after a week. The new unit fully charged to 100% via AC. Haven't tested the solar panel charging yet but I don't expect any issues. MaxOak sent a FedEx return tag for the broken unit. When I took the unit to FedEx in the original box, FedEx charged me $11 to put the box into another box! FedEx said that the original box wasn't a shipping box. I let MaxOak know that FedEx is charging for the return and maybe they want to use someone else for shipping. MaxOak credited me $11 for the extra box! I had great experience with the customer service and while I don't want to have a power outage to use the unit, it looks to be a great battery backup.

It's built well. I like the fact that it doesn't have a handle sticking up. Lov, love, love this little sucker. When it's time for my power needs to increase, I'll be getting a larger Bluetti.

Bought on Sept 26/21 from Maxtar New Ener. and informed I'm not eligible for a refund. Just tried charging it for the first time today. Stopped charging at 60%. Huge bummer!

Buying Guide

When selecting a new battery-powered backup generator, there are certain features and characteristics you should look for in order to make the best selection for your particular needs. This guide will provide an overview of all the factors you should consider when selecting this product, including its output capacities, expandability, portability, and safety features. When choosing a battery backup generator, consider finding one that has plenty of outlets for all of your devices. This allows you to power a variety of small appliances, including computers, televisions, and more. Additionally, look for an option that includes USB Type-A ports, USB Type-C ports, 12V/15A DC ports, and even12V/10A ports, allowing you to charge phones, tablets, and other devices. Next, think about choosing a generator that has expandability that allows you to add up to seven additional batteries. This makes it possible to power much larger appliances and devices, such as air conditioners, hot tubs, and more. Look for a backup generator that is designed to be portable, possibly one with built-in carrying handles. This makes it easy to transport the power station wherever you need it. Lastly, choose a generator that includes built-in safety features, such as short-circuit protection, overcharge protection, over voltage protection, and over temperature protection, to ensure that its power is used safely and efficiently. This way, you can keep things powered with no worry of danger.
