I chose this hot tub for size, the hydrojets on the sidewall, the numerous airjets, the seat, & the technology. It was a little nerve racking spending so much on the inflatable design but overall it was the best choice. In reading numerous reviews on inflatables I found the biggest regret was buying too small. This is really good for two adults in my opinion, but four is doable. My greatest surprise was how well the airjets massage the whole body...it feels incredible! There is a 2nd inner circle of airjets in the bottom middle that massages your legs & feet. If you sit just right against the wall the outer ring of airjets will massage your entire back, & then bring your arms to the sides to get the full effect. You'll have to sink low to get your neck & upper shoulder region but you can place your feet against the opposite seat to hold you down so you don't float upwards. The hydrojets are good for the areas needing pressure, which uses the same pump as the heater so the heat shuts off when the hydrojets are in use. I use the airjets first so the water continues to heat, then I use the hydrojets to finish the job (can't use both at the same time.) Keep it at 104 degrees due to mild fluctations while in use, & keep the lid on when not in use. The lighted jets can replace any hydrojet hole, & I placed them where I felt the jets would be used less often as the stream has less power. The picture with the lid off shows tiny bubbles as I had just turned off the airjets (initially I was concerned as I thought maybe it was a chemical imbalance.) I bought a 1 inch thick mat (comes in 24" puzzle pieces) for protection & support. Make sure you get enough mat to go under the pump as the pump must align for plumbing lines. I set up my 10'x10' tent with weights to protect from the weather as the lid dips down & collects rainwater, & the tent is large enough to also cover the electronics. The plugin is huge & will not fit any ordinary outside electric box so you will need an electrician to install a proper outlet on the exterior wall of your house (see last picture.) You can use an extension cord (keep the plugin high & dry) until you can get this done, but that is not a permanent solution regarding safety concerns. The manufacturer video shows a woman setting up the tub. She must have been a bodybuilder because I could not have done this without my husband, who is very strong. I have concerns about this manufacturer when the time comes for pump replacement or repairs of any sort, but I chose to take the risk because there was no way I could afford a hard shell hot tub, and they appear no less reliable than the rest of the inflatable tub manufacturers. As popular as the inflatable hot tub is now, I hope all manufacturers will continue to make needed improvements. Also, my husband is a master mechanic so I leave it in his good hands to solve any problems. I'm lucky in this way that I can make what I feel is a somewhat risky financial venture. You may contemplate a cheaper/smaller model for less financial risk, but the reward will not be as satisfactory, in my opinion. This has been the best decision I have made for my well being in a long time. I hope it lasts!...and so does my cat!

So….I never really thought I’d drop a grand for an inflatable hot tub. I kind of thought a cheesy way of trying to have one. I got convinced because my wife and one of my co workers have told me that some of their friends had ones that they got from Costco. I started researching because I wanted something a little bigger than those. I found this one and pulled the trigger and ordered it. YouTube is your friend when it comes to set up. It is easy but the instructions are pretty vague. I believe I had a faulty pump and bright it up with the seller and they sent me a new one. So far…I love this thing. I have it set in my garage where the average temp is between 30-40 degrees. I have it set to 104 and I have been able to sit in it with the HydroJet and bubbles going with no issue of it getting to cool to sit in. It’s super sturdy and all in all I can’t really believe how much I have been enjoying this thing.

We couldn't get the jets to work although the air bubbles were working. We discovered a black plastic piece covering the jets intake near the filter and chem tab folder on the inside of the tub.Nowhere in the manual does it say anything about removing this. We didn't even know it was a cover.Once we accidentally found that removing this mystery black piece of plastic that was stuck on there tightly, then the jets worked perfectly. Beware!

Took a chance on an inflatable hot tub and I made the right decision. It helps a lot with the pain in my lower back and hips. I go out early morning and late at night. I highly recommend this hot tub. It takes a while to get to temp ,but it stays there once it gets there. I keep it running all winter. it will usually stay at 104' in 20'-0'. Today the wind chill was -45 and temp was -18. water temp was 85'. No, I didn't go out today ,but I do when its 20' and the warth is wonderful! Worth the money!

Service department is excellent! The filter is too small. Within 24 hours the filter code would flash. Took the filter out and it would function but could not keep the water clean regardless of how much chemical was put into water. The temperature would never get above 102. I like 104 degrees. We sent this back within 30 days. When returning the product you are required to place it on a pallet. We live on a farm and are able to accommodate this requirement. I fear most people would not be able to do this.Do not buy this hot tub.

My wife and I recently moved into a new place with a covered patio space. As soon as we saw it, we eyeballed one side of it and said to each other, “that’s where the jacuzzi will go.” We couldn’t afford getting into it right then, but that didn’t stop my wife from “window shopping.” A fixed installation spa was out of the question, due to cost and installation hassles, so one of these inflatables was a perfect solution. She narrowed down her search to a few different models, and we ended up buying this one.SETUP: Setup of this spa is very simple. Many reviewers have griped about the instructions, and they’re right. The only part of the instructions that are “written” are all the warnings about what NOT to do. The actual set up instructions are all in pictures; the drawings are tiny (unless you pull up a copy online that you can blow up on your computer screen), and Bestway uses the same manual for a number of different spa models with slightly different features, so the illustrations you’re looking at don’t always match up exactly with your particular spa. The good news is, however, that there are only a few loose parts you actually have to deal with, and they’re pretty simple to figure out once you’ve got everything out of the boxes they come in.The one part I had the most trouble with was the plastic air hose. It’s only used for one thing: inflating the spa. Once the spa is inflated, hose removed, and the separate cap screwed down on the air inlet valve fitting, you just put the hose away. The hose fitting that screws onto the pump unit has holes in it, and when you start inflating the spa, air rushes out of these holes very noisily, making you think you’re missing a gasket/seal, or screwed something up. Fear not ... that’s the way it’s supposed to work. The air blower in the control unit is designed to blow a very high volume of air into the spa jet tubing, with only limited resistance, so this “relief” vent feature on the air hose ensures that the blower doesn’t get damaged as the spa reaches max inflation pressure. When you’ve selected and prepared the area you plan to put the spa on, I HIGHLY recommend putting down some interlocking exercise mat or similar foam material to cover the entire area the spa will rest on. I found a perfect product for this at Home Depot: dark grey foamcore material coated with black rubber/vinyl, “diamond plate” pattern on one side, smooth on the other. They come in packages of six 24x24 inch squares, at a cost of about $25/pkg. Two packages gave me the 9 squares I needed to create a 72-inch square mat for the spa, plus 3 extra squares for use elsewhere, or to keep as spares to replace any that get damaged.Once you’ve pumped up the spa, you literally just line up the pump unit with the corresponding fittings on the “business” side of the spa, and insert/tighten the fittings by hand. No tools required. There are only three fittings: one large one for air, and two smaller ones for water intake/discharge. I cut one of my spare mat squares to put underneath the pump, because our spa rests on concrete, and the foam layer under the pump reduces transmission of vibration/noise from the pump into the concrete ... makes the pump a little quieter.FILLING UP: If you’re like us, by the time you get to the point of filling the spa with water, you’ll be dying to get in it, but first you’ve got to heat up the water. Turn on the power (you have to hold your finger on the power switch for a few seconds before it goes on). One button activates the water pump, a second button activates the heater, and a third button activates the air. The only ones you’re using at this point are the pump and heater. You don’t turn on the air blower until the water’s fully heated, and you’re ready to soak. As many reviewers have noted, heating the water takes a pretty long time, because the heating element in the main pump just doesn’t have the power to rapidly heat hundreds of gallons of water from cold to the spa’s maximum temp of 104-degrees F.Here’s a couple of handy “hacks” that will help speed that process up. Run a garden hose from your water heater drain valve into the spa, and empty the heated water into the spa one or two times as it’s filling up with cold water from another source. Another trick: when you buy your spa, also get a submersible, small pool heating rod. The one we got cost about $35, and draws around 1500W. Put the heating rod into the filled spa, and run it at the same time you’re running the spa’s pump/heater system ... just make sure the heater is plugged into an electrical circuit entirely separate from the one you’re using to run the spa pump. We did both of these hacks, and had the spa fully heated and ready for use less than 24 hours after we filled it with water ... and that was at a time when the overnight air temps at our house were at, or below freezing.RUNNING THE SPA. When all the preps were done, the spa was filled and heated to 104, and we got into it for the first time, all I can say is ... WOW. 104 may not sound very hot, but it is. The temp does slip a few degrees once the air’s turned on, but so far for us, water temp has held very steady at 99-100 even after we’ve been in the bubbles for a half-hour, and ambient air temp has been pretty cold (e.g., 40's). The volume and massaging action of the air/bubbles put out by the pump and jets that run around the bottom corners of the spa is truly impressive ... FAR better than most hotel/other spas my wife and I have been in over the years, and this one is right outside our back door, anytime we feel like getting into it.The spa cover comes with an inflatable insert that fits snugly into the void between the top of the spa walls and water level. The insulating properties of this design (combined with the walls of the spa and layer of insulating material beneath) are just amazing. Using nothing but our submersible heater (I turn the pump off overnight, because while it is fairly quiet, it does make some noise, like those annoying fish tank pumps you may recall from your childhood), and even with ambient air temps dropping into the teens some nights, I’ve been able to maintain the water temp at 104 degrees, or higher, throughout the night, without having to run the pump at all.ELECTRICAL. With respect to the spa’s electrical requirements, when the air, water pump and heater are all running, this thing draws 12 amps, which is a lot of power. That’s why it has to be plugged into a dedicated electrical outlet, with nothing else plugged into it. The plug end of the OE electrical cord is very bulky, with its own built-in safety/circuit breaker, and generally requires an entirely flat outlet surface to seat right. The outlet we’re using for ours is an exterior one in a metal box with a cover. I couldn’t plug the OE cord into it without using an adapter (15A rated) to move the female outlet surface from the back of its box to the front. While the manufacturer warns that you can’t use an extension cord with their spa pump, you can, if you have to ... you just have to make sure the cord you’re using is rated to carry at least 15 amps, and is no longer than necessary to connect the end of the OE cord to your power source. IF you need to use an extension cord, you should also regularly check both ends of the cord while the spa’s running, to make sure no part of the cord is getting hot ... if it is, you need a heavier-duty cord.CONSTRUCTION/WARRANTY. I’ve seen a few reviewers complain of leaks in the units they’ve received, and that concerned me a little when we bought ours. However, I’m happy to report that what I’ve seen in ours so far is a very well-designed and well-constructed product. The main spa material and fittings seem very durable/solid, and have worked perfectly for us so far. If you promptly register your spa purchase with Bestway (they require that be done within a few weeks of the purchase), they’ll double their normal warranty periods on the spa components.SANITIZING. The filter and chemical dispenser that come with the spa are very simple to use. The filter screws onto the water intake port/fitting, and the chemical dispenser screws onto the discharge port/fitting just above the other. I use one-inch brominating tablets, but you should note that the 1-inch tablets don’t fit in the dispenser supplied with the spa. They have to be cut in half to fit, or you can just buy your own “floater” type dispenser. I prefer the OE dispenser though, just because it’s fully submerged in the spa, and doesn’t bump into the spa cover liner.CONCLUSION. In sum, my wife and I couldn’t be happier with what we got for our money on this product, which has literally changed our lives. There is nothing like being able to jump into a hot, soothing spa after a long day at work, especially when you can do that in the privacy of your own home, any time you want. We’re both more relaxed when we go to bed, sleeping more soundly through the night, and generally feeling less stressed out, all the time. My thanks to Bestway and Amazon for making all that possible for us, at an affordable price.[Update: now going on two months of daily use: everything's still working great; no air or water leaks; no problems with pump unit or connection seals. I'm now using the submersible heater mentioned in the main review, in conjunction with an "Inkbird" temperature-controlled power switch, and separate, submersible water pump (to circulate spa water when the heater is on) to keep the spa water at constant temp between 104 (heater/pump goes on) and 107F (heater/pump goes off), without having to run the OE spa pump/heater all the time. Now, I only run the OE spa pump/heater/blower while we're in the spa, and for a few hours after each use to clean/filter the water. Result: less wear/tear/unnecessary running of the OE spa pump/heater; and water is ALWAYS at perfect temp for immediate use, anytime we want ... just pull off the cover, turn off the accessory heater/pump, turn on the OE pump/heater/blower ... great use-efficiency upgrade to an already-great product!][Second update (5/7/2022)] After months of daily use, everything is still working great, but I will add that you need to test/pay attention to your water chemistry, if you don't want to have to keep emptying/refilling the tub. Up until about a week ago, I had only treated the water with bromine, but we started having trouble with the water foaming up while the jets were on, so I studied up a bit and found out this can be caused by chemical imbalance. I got a kit which included pH up/down, alkaline up/down and calcium (hardness) up additives, and used all of them as directed to get all these key measurements into "ideal" balance. Foam issue went away almost immediately, the water looks cleaner, and my secondary heater core isn't accumulating rust anymore (low "hardness" will accelerate rusting of any metal the water comes into contact with). STILL a "five-star" purchase from Amazon.]

This spa is very durable and easy to set up. While took 24 hours to heat to 103, the night time temp was below 40, so it was not unexpected. The sides are very sturdy and the cover fits snugly and we had no problems during high winds of a spring storm. Great value for the money.

Update 8/20: Had to drop to 1 star. In addition to high monthly costs (inefficient insulation), it got a couple tiny holes that took a while to diagnose and patch; but worse, this week all the water drained out! On inspection, I found the bottom separated at the seam on the pump side. I assumed it had a 3-5 year warranty, only to find its 180 days! It’s catastrophic and doesn’t appear to be repairable. The seam along the bottom near the air jets is one layer, and looks to be heat sealed. It’s pretty thin, and once it goes the tub is done! Had some good times, but it was pretty short lived!Update 8/19: I’m keeping it at 3 stars because it is enjoyable; however, our electric bill has increased by about $120/month by running the hot tub. We were using it 3-4 times a week, but tried to keep it running most of the time. I was expecting about $30/month!!! Be warned! This hot tub is a lot of fun. It’s comfortable, looks pretty good, and is definitely relaxing! Setup is pretty easy, but be aware that you will have to do some research on treating and maintaining the water.-Some of the highlights include a sturdy build, comfortable seating for 4 adults, a quiet pump that runs on 110 volts, easy to use once you figure out the quirks with the controls, and it looks pretty nice in the yard.-Some of the drawbacks: the inflatable cover has about 10 child proof quick release hooks. Way too much work to clip and unclip them on a daily basis. Also, fabric holds the inflatable top in place, and contacts the edge of the water. I am already seeing some yellowing in areas of the fabric, despite stable chemical levels in the tub.The timer function is pretty unusable. You have to set it every time and acts more like an auto off function than a timer. A functional timer that comes on daily at 4 and shuts off at midnight would be much better. Finally, the temperature. Max is 104, though I’m not sure why. I would really like 105 or 106. Also, when you turn the air bubbles on, you can expect the temp to drop a couple degrees, sometimes within a few minutes. But the real issue is that it doesn’t seem to hold 104 consistently. I get home at 4 or 5 and it says 104, then when I come out to soak at 7, it is at 102! Turn the bubbles on and your at 100, which is a nice warm bath, but not a hot tub! I’m adapting by turning it off when I get home, then back on an hour later, so that it is cycling up again and is at 104 when I’m ready to get in. Not sure if it is just my pump, or if it is a symptom of the 110 system struggling to keep up. Our outside temps range from about 50-72 degrees right now.Despite the shortcomings, it is a great deal for the money. It is functional, and at the lower temperature, my wife can read for an hour and soak while I grill on the nearby patio!

This hot tub is amazing. Easy to setup and very durable vinyl construction. It holds the heat well even in the cold. The bubble jets are unbelievable and the turbulence created really soothing on your body. Got the 4 seater but two people are better suited for this model. I would highly recommend this hot tub . It’s the most rewarding buy i have made in a long time. Get one you won’t be disappointed.

We previously had an intex inflatable spa and was hit with the dreaded E90 error. Usually it was just air in the line but it finally died after only 1 and a half summers. We decided to “upgrade” and get the Helsinki from Saluspa. I love the thinner wall design. It’s feels more sturdy than our previous thicker inflatable! On top of that it is advertised as usable in all 4 seasons. We live in Ohio and it gets cold so we will see. Setup was simple. Similar to others. Heated up to 104 in 24 hours so no problem there. Bubbles massage works great. If I had any complaints it would be that my previous cup holders do not fit due to the thinner wall. Other than that this has been a great upgrade and we are looking forward to using it all year long. Cosmetically it looks awesome. I wasn’t sure about the “wood” look but it looks way better in person. My wife said “this one looks way more expensive than out last one” and it does. It has a smaller footprint than our previous but holds as much of not a little more water. Plus no pad for the bottom, because it’s already built into the tub. We love that! Very soft to sit on. So far we highly recommend this over the Intex Spa but time will tell. I will update as we go and try to answer any questions I can.UPDATE: 9/7/20This tub actually does work through the winter! We had no problems keeping temps up. It did drop a little faster when we got in during the cold but that was to be expected and honestly for as long as we stayed in (30 Mins) it’s fine.UPDATE: Sadly after my last update we were sitting in the spa when suddenly the bubbles started flowing out the side of it (spa was not on) the seam at the bottom where the wall meets the floor ripped! We emptied the spa and I have tried to patch it with vinyl and HH-66 Vinyl Cement but it isn’t working well. Contacted support and was told Spa was no longer under warranty (after just over a year) so it looks like I’m screwed. We loved the spa when it was here so I am trying to decide if I want to invest in it again after error message months ago (replaced by warranty) and now a seam rip. I’m not sure if the investment overall is going to be worth it. It’s great while running but buy with caution knowing that it wasn’t without problems. I bought mine at $700 on Amazon. I have seen them over $1000 and my advice is even fully working do NOT purchase at that price.UPDATED: 12/22/23So I bit the bullet and bought ANOTHER spa from this company. After 13 months it also had a leak. This was the expensive Santorini model. The model itself is awesome! Built in seats, water powered lighting. We loved this hot tub. The problem is these things are not built to last. I have tried and tried to make it work but my advice is to avoid this type of hot tub and look towards something a bit more sturdy. I may be trying a Wave Spas Eco Foam tub next. I will update when I have a good feel for how it goes.

I wanted to love this spa, but after about a month's worth of use, it's proven very impractical and uneconomical. First, the hot tub will NOT hold the set temperature. This spa is advertised as suitable for cold and winter conditions (see promo video included in the listing where people are using it in the falling snow). Our hot tub has not been over 100 degrees F since the day we filled it. Most days, especially when below 32 degrees F (freezing), it hovers somewhere around 90 degrees, give or take. When the temp dipped into the 20s (F), the hot tub temp dipped into the 80s. The heater runs 24/7 and simply can't keep up. Second, our home electricity bill has doubled! We've had a $150/mo increase in our below-average size single-family home. All in all, we've tried to use it twice, but can't justify keeping it for the cost and lack of function. It could be great, but the unfortunate reality is that we're paying $150/mo to maintain a few hundred gallons of warm water (but not warm enough!) outside our home this winter. Other than these fatal flaws, the remainder of the spa is quite nice; sturdiness of the sides, overall function, etc. Only other gripe I'd have is that the chemical dispenser says it'll fit any 1 inch tab, and it doesn't--I have to cut ours in half to get the lid closed. That's very tolerable, the heating/cost issue very much isn't.Wish I could recommend this product but buyer beware, especially if you live where it gets cold outside!

I do not do many reviews (almost none), but felt compelled to write this one as my wife and I questioned if this would be worth the time and money. Please note: We have only had this tub for 3 days, so I will be back in 3 months to update how we feel about it then. For the price, my wife and I were honestly expecting an adult kiddy pool, but that was not the case. This item came shipped in a fairly small box (for a hot tub) and was easy to move with a dolly. Once the box was unloaded, it was easy for 1 person to move the items around in the room. When the hot tub is filled with air, my wife and I can move it with one hand each via the handles on the side of the tub. The tub did not take long to setup (22 minutes for 1 person) and filled in just a couple hours. Being that we live in Fla, we wanted it to be pool temperature and did not require the heater as the water was at 90 degrees within just a couple days. The design and look of the hot tub is very well done and does not look cheap. We are proud to have it on our screened in patio. The motor and heater has 2 cup holders once you lift the touch pad upwards, which is nice, but I suspect most people do not want to have the motor facing outward and this could mean that you are across the pool from it if you have a nice view that you want to look out at. We wish we had ordered steps to make it easier for the wife to get into (she is 5'4"), but that was an easy fix. We wondered about the floor not being that thick, but the buoyancy of your body in the water makes you light on the bottom and is very comfortable even on a hard surface. The top for the spa is very nice and includes lock downs for windy days to prevent the top from flying away. The only issue that we have (at is is not a big deal), is that the lid has a blowup center that is not attached directly to the lid (for keeping the center floating and to prevent water pooling in rain, etc) and the rim under the lid that holds the blow up piece in place gets water in it and always spills out when you remove the lid. Other than that, this (so far) is well worth the money...

Buying Guide

If you're planning on enjoying a relaxing massage in your hot tub, then you'll want to make sure that you buy one with powerful jets throughout the entire interior. Pay attention to the size and strength of the pump as well. Larger hot tubs require stronger pumps and heating systems that allow them to maintain high pressure in the jets and keep the water hot. With people getting in and out on a regular basis, you'll want a hot tub that's durable and easy to maintain. It should have sturdy side walls and an easy-to-access valve that allows you to completely drain the tub for cleaning. You’ll need a hot tub with a weatherproof exterior and a good warranty if you want to put it outdoors, and if you plan to put one indoors make sure to place it in a well-ventilated room so that water and chlorine vapor do not seep into your walls. Keep in mind that every hot tub needs regular chemical treatment with chlorine or bromine, and they should be covered when not in use to maintain the heat and keep the water clean. Regular maintenance and filter cleaning can have a major impact on the strength of pressurized jets. Some come with features like built-in speakers, headrests, LED lights and different kinds of jets. Decide which features you want the most and make sure that the model you choose has them.

"I chose this hot tub for size, the hydrojets on the sidewall, the numerous airjets, the seat, & the technology. I hope it lasts!...and so does my cat!"

"So….I never really thought I’d drop a grand for an inflatable hot tub. It’s super sturdy and all in all I can’t really believe how much I have been enjoying this thing."
