This cleaning kit is excellent at removing dirt and static from your records while also being extremely easy to use. While most of my records are fairly clean, the presence of static has been attracting dust and cat hair, which has been a fairly annoying source of surface noise. Using this cleaning kit makes getting rid of these contaminates a breeze and has essentially reduced my service noise to almost 0. If you’re looking for something to clean and remove static from your records but aren’t quite ready to spend the money on a spin clean I highly recommend it.

This kit comes with everything you need to keep your music in good condition. It is amazing at removing dust, the instructions are clear, and it all comes in a nice little pouch to store the tools in when you're done. I use it whenever I can see visible dust on my vinyl or when I hear unusual skips in the songs. Everything you get in this cleaning kit is worth the price!

Keeping vinyl clean is an absolute must for playing clean, static/skip free music. This does a great job, cleaning the record and also has a brush for the needle. So far very happy with results

I have a vinyl collection so this product is essential before play. My old similar cleaner needed replacing. This has been fantastic. It picks up a good amount of dust making for a better sound when playing. The big velvety brush does a good job getting that dirt. Also cleans the needle well. Very pleased.

i bought this kit immediately after getting some vinyls and a record player. i’m so impressed with how well it cleans! i should’ve taken pictures of what came off of the visibly dirty vinyls (a LOT of dust and a bit of cat hair) because that’s what i bought this kit for. but i didn’t know i was gonna leave a review at all until i decided to clean all of them, regardless of whether they looked clean or not. pictured: what came off my “cleanest” record 🤯🤯🤯instructions are on the back of the box and are very easily understood. while you can make it harder for yourself and clean it on a flat surface, you can simply put your record on the player and hold the brush in one place! it’s so quick and works so well!! this was the help my vinyls so desperately needed to boost their audio quality!

Since cleaning my records with this they skip less and sound better. I had no idea they were as dirty as they were or how much static was in new pressed records as there are. This takes care of it all.

I like the size and quality of this one. It reminds me of ones I used to use back when vinyl was ‘the’ media for on demand music. It was enough mass and surface area to easily clean a side before play. Does a good job of removing debris that a static bristle can't. I’ve used it on several albums and it does help clean up albums that perhaps didn’t receive the best care from their previous owners.

Love the Big Fudge vinyl record cleaning system. Just got back into the nostalgia of playing my old vinyl and certainly impressed with how well it cleans. After spraying a bit of solution onto the soft brush and gliding it along the record, was amazed at how much dust it picked up. Using the supplied brush to clean the brush off is easy and effective.

The Big Fudge Stylus Gel does a great job of keeping my new stylus clean and is so easy to use. It is small but how big do you need it to be just to clean the stylus. This way I can keep it right on the turntable beside the tonearm base...hardly noticeable but always there when I need it. And the price is so much better than the others. This is an easy choice!

The Big Fudge Stylus Cleaner Gel works great and is super easy to use. Just lower the stylus arm (using the lowering lever) a couple times into the gel and it efficiently collects all dust and grime that has built up on the stylus. Make sure to seal it tightly when done, and do not store in direct sunlight. Also, the directions say you can gently rinse it in warm water when it collects too much gunk, so it should last quite a while. Highly recommenced and much cheaper than the big name stylus cleaning gels!

I bought this to help with a static issue I've been having. It did seem to help a little, and cleans the stylus pretty well. The only complaint I have, is that it is a little hard to dip the stylus into the gel. They could do better with the design of the container. To solve my static issue, I bought a Jake's Turntable Mat (deer leather). I would say this gel maybe reduced static by 10-15% and with the mat 80-90%.

I’m a believer. It works wonders in combination with the Big Fudge roller. My records sound close to perfect now and really makes everything I listen to more enjoyable. Just drop the needle gently 3 times on the gel. It cleans it and must add the tiniest lube to the tip of the stylus. It seems to make a real difference.

I clean my needles a lot when I play and this has provided the best quick clean so far. No mess, no fuss, easy to carry, use and clean. Love it!

The box is too tiny and the gel is inverse. It probably works ok but it’s not easy to use. I much prefer the larger gel boxes.

After reading write-ups on FB pages dealing with the new/vintage vinyl revival and discussions about methods for cleaning lawn sale and bargain basement vinyl purchases, and always the one looking for easier and better ways to clean my vinyl, I decided to give this device a try. Finally got an opportunity to take this cleaner for a "spin" today. I am very pleased.I purchased two because I read where several persons posting their stories recommended performing a final rinse before placing the vinyl in the drying rack. This is how I cleaned some records today.1) First basin was filled, as directed in the instruction sheet, with distilled water into which I added two cap fulls of cleaning fluid.2) The second basin was filled to the same suggested level, into which I added 1/2 cap full of Kodak Fotoflow.3) Washed and rinsed each record and placed into drying rack. Dry after less than thirty minutes, but I let them sit for the duration. The first album I cleaned was an old Kinks album I picked up somewhere. Remember trying to play it once and barely made it through the first song. The album was noisy! Today the album was significantly better. Just a few clicks and pops. Big improvement over my initial attempt to play the record. The second album was and album I had purchased years ago and played a few times. The album had it's share of clicks and pops. After cleaning, the album sounded like a new record. I was so pleased with the results. So pleased that I've selected thirty albums I'm going to clean tomorrow. The process is very easy and fool-proof. You cannot mess the process up. Eventually I will make it through my collection, but what's the rush?Highly recommend adding this to your album cleaning strategy. Very affordable and easy to use.I also recommend using distilled water and Kodak Fotoflow in the rinse. Now get out there and clean that vinyl! Not need to procrastinate any longer. This is the tool you've been waiting for!

Had a bunch of old LP's very dirty. Wow this works well. Cleaned up all my albums very easily. Very simple to set up, very clear easy instructions. The amount of drops that you use in comparison to the amount your receive is amazing. I can't see running out of cleaning solutions for years. Also a minor point. You can put them easily on a shelf on whatever your set up is and it doesn't detract from how great everything looks. Great item Great Value

I've seen quite a few videos swearing this thing is essential if you own records. While this may be a cheaper version of the cleaner it does what it's supposed to do which is clean your albums. Does it make them sound brand new? Of course it doesn't but you will however notice an improvement. I recently bought a used Dokken album that was pretty unlistenable so I figured as a test I'd clean that one first. Got the cleaner set up and away I went. At first I felt like I was about the snap my record in half but once it started spinning I was breathing a lot easier. Once it dried I placed it on my turntable and was pleasantly surprised with the results. While it still had some surface noise, it was greatly reduced along with the crackles and pops that made the record sound so horrible. It does clean well which makes it a solid investment. For albums that are older and unlistenable, this is going to make a huge improvement in overall sound quality. The one thing I did notice is that newer albums that are thicker aren't going to do well in here. They really stuggle to turn and you can feel the unit stuggle a bit. The roller turned but the rubber bands were popping out of this sides which was not something I expected, but it did work but just not without a lot of manhandling on my end. So, if you only have newer 180 gram vinyl, this may not be for you, but for older albums it works like a champ. The only thing to bear in mind is that it does clean and may make your album sound brand new at some point, but right out of the gate it won't. I would say don't waste your money on any other cleaning product and invest in this and you won't be dissapointed

Very easy to use. Follo the advice in the instruction booklet and your records will come clean and will sound better. I normally fill the unit with distilled water and apply three cup falls of the record cleaning solution and clean my records. After 20 records have been cleaned I change the water. You won't believe how dirty the water in the basin looks when exchanged! The drying fleece is awesome. I will be using this kit forever.

I bought this because it was cheaper than the Spin Clean system. This would be my first experience with cleaning records. The cleaning system itself is very straightforward; however, I did find it hard to rotate the record, esp 180 gram records. The fit is just very tight. Even when pulling out the record, the thicker records especially would end up pulling out the brushes with the record. The whole system worked just ok for me. Newer records were cleaned to help with static buildup, which it did work well. With older records that were bought at flea markets, goodwill, record stores, etc, I found that it really helped with surface staining and making old records shine again. But I don't think it really lifted dust and dirt from really deep in the grooves themselves. Older records still play with a good amount of static, and even after cleaning and playing them, I would see a buildup of dust on my stylus which had to be cleaned. This definitely let me know that it makes them clean-looking, but is not necessarily the best at actually lifting the dirt out of the deep grooves. II will be trying a combination of DIY wet cleaning on a lazy susan with the Vinyl Vac to see it that does any better. We'll see.

Recuerda solo limpia no repara arañazos.

Also schön langsam drehen.

Buying Guide

Owners of record collections know how important upkeep is for taking care of their precious vinyls. Vinyl record cleaning kits include everything needed to maintain vinyls and keep them in tip-top shape. If you are considering purchasing a vinyl record cleaning kit there are a few things you will want to take into consideration. First, you’ll want to think about what type of vinyl record cleaning kit you need. There are a couple different types of vinyl record cleaning kits on the market, automated and manual, so it's important to choose one that's right for you. Automated vinyl record cleaning kits can be a bit on the pricey side, and if you aren’t a DJ or something similar it may be unnecessary to invest in one of these machines. Manual vinyl record cleaning kits are generally easier to use, less expensive and usually include things such as a soft velvet cleaning brush, a stylus cleaning brush, a cleaning solution and a pouch to keep all of its contents together. After you’ve decided what type of vinyl record cleaning kit you would like to purchase, it's always a good idea to read some reviews from other customers. This will give you an idea of what other people think about the various vinyl record cleaning kits on the market and help you narrow down your choices. Finally, the last thing you’ll want to decide is how much you’d like to spend on a vinyl record cleaning kit. Vinyl record cleaning kits can range in price from around $30 to $500, so it's important to set a budget before you start shopping. If you're on a tight budget, then there are some great options available for under $100.
