I received an immediate response from the founder of the company, Kristen who explained the source of the issue and offered to send me a replacement brush and a refund. She did explain to me that issue was as follows:“When a customer decides to return a brush to Amazon, they ship it back to an Amazon warehouse. At that time an Amazon employee takes the product out of the return box and makes a decision as to whether or not it is to be discarded or put back into Amazon inventory. I have told Amazon in the past that all of our returns should be discarded because they are sanitary in nature and should not be used by more than one person. Unfortunately, it appears that they are not following our requests.”I received my package from Kristen today and she sent me TWO new brushes and they were 100% brand new and wonderful. She exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perspective of her company and staff. I’m honestly happier now than I would have been if I got sent a brand new brush delivered from Amazon from the start.The brush works wonders when it comes to detangling hair. It’s very gentle and I noticed a lot less hair came out compared to using my regular brush or wide tooth comb. I haven’t gotten to use it on a knot yet but I feel very confident that I won’t be using the scissors on my knots anymore because this will work perfectly to get my knots and tangles out. Having blonde hair myself I knew there was no possible way it could have been mine so it was obvious to me that the brush had been purchased by someone else, returned and then shipped off to me which is why the box appeared to be tampered with. I’m pretty disgusted at the fact they would send me a used brush that had been returned. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t inspect the returned brush to make sure it hadn’t been used before sending it to someone else advertising it as a “new” product. The fact that they didn’t even take the time to inspect it or sanitize it during the time of a pandemic just goes to show poor management in my eyes. I have very curly hair that has been getting thinner progressively over the last couple years. The only common denominator of this, after a lot of testing and making sure that my health is OK, has been the hairbrush I’ve been using. I just switched over to this today, and, not only was it completely pain-free and super fast, but it felt good on my scalp and the clump of hair that Came off of the brush afterwards was maybe a 10th of the size of it normally is. This brush is excellent, pain-free, easy and efficient. I really hope it does improve my hair loss, but I have a great feeling about it!

This brush is great for taking tangles out of your wet hair. It also does great on dry hair. I really like this brush. I bought 2 of them. I have hair past my shoulder blades. I would buy them again.

I was skeptical of this brush. I have bought others in the past and they were plastic stiff bristles that rip your hair. I thought these were the same but they are nice and flexible bristles that glide through your hair and detangle without damage. I would recommend this brush for any wavy or curly hair types. Im sure its great for straight hair as well. Overall great purchase for the price. I bought the 2 pack. Also the quality is way better all around then i thought. The brush on the outside is very soft material.

I’m a curly girl with thick hair, the last brush I bought was not strong enough to really get through all the layers of my hair. I bought this one hoping it would be better, and boy was it!I was doubtful as soon as I pulled it out the box, thinking it seemed a bit flimsy. However, as soon as I put it to the test, brushing my hair I’ve been wishing I went with my gut feeling of getting the two pack!!!! It’s small and light enough to be convenient to travel with, the grip of the odd shape is surprisingly comfortable, the bristles although thin are sturdy, and removing hair from the brush is quite seamless! Detangles with little effort, and doesn’t get stuck in curls/ pull on my hair.All in all! I’ve never in my life written a Amazon product review before, but after opening my package about 20 mins ago and trying out the brush… I was driven to write this.

Es justo lo que buscaba, mejoró el cepillado de mi cabello, hace que casi no se quiebre ni se enrede, además de que no me produce caída durante el cepillado por estas razones. El mango del cepillo es muy ergonómico, me gustó el color azul, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Sabiendo utilizarlo en el sentido y posición correcto ayuda a estilizar perfecto el cabello rizado.

Funciona muy bien para desenredar, jala el cabello igual que otros cepillos si se hace con fuerza pero bastante menos si se hace suave, lo uso con mi hija y si es una mejora en el peinado diario.

Daughter and husband both love these especially before bed for head scratches and combing hair,They work perfect for my daughter’s fine hair and it’s a product we use every day when detangling during styling.
