This seat cushion allowed my severely bruised coccyx to heal completely after about 9 months of daily (all day) use. And when I say severe bruise, I was hospitalized with the bruise (not for the bruise, but I had the condition when admitted), and I was hospitalized for 42 days. Over that time hospital stay, the bruising worsened so much from laying in bed I was placed on a special air mattress for the last half of the stay. The pain was excruciating sitting, and it still hurt when laying down. When I was released, even doubling the standard cushions the hospital rehab specialists sent home with me were completely ineffective. I searched for this kind of cushion online out of desperation. Thankfully Amazon search promptly featured this model prominently on the first try.The cushion is very comfortable, the outer fabric still looks in fantastic shape, and the cushion itself is just as supportive as it was the first day I used it. In fact, even though the pain is gone, I'll probably continue to use this simply for the comfort it offers and to avoid rebruising going forward. I couldn't be more satisfied, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs comfortable support for sitting and/or coccyx healing. When a product works at least 10 times better than what a massive regional medical center's (7000+ total employees) rehab specialists could come up with, you know you've found a winner!

I got this because I started working from home. My home desk chair became uncomfortable to sit in for more than an hour or two, actually causing pain in my tailbone that would last for hours after I got up out of the chair. I was exploring buying a chair like I have in my office, but it is roughly $500. I figured I would try this cushion as a less expensive initial investment, particularly since I wasn't sure how much longer I would be able to work from home. This made a HUGE difference. I am sitting in it for 8-10 hours a day. I now have zero pain or discomfort and highly recommend it to make sitting for long stretches more comfortable.It seems well made and comes with 2 removable / washable covers. There are little bumps on the bottom of the cover that helps keep the cushion from sliding. It doesn't get hot. Honestly - it is perfect.

I purchased a new desk chair online back in October and the only thing I disliked about the chair was that it was uncomfortable. I tried using existing pillows, cushions and folded blankets to make it more bearable to sit on for extended hours with no success. I researched several ergonomic cushions, but none fit the dimensions of the chair seat. I came across this one by CushionCare, read the reviews and watched an unboxing video. Considering it came with both the seat cushion and lumbar support AND the price seemed reasonable, I figured it was worth a try. I have now been using it for 3 weeks and I can honestly say I enjoy sitting down at my desk and the lumbar roll is bonus. It does add some height to the seat, however it helped my situation considering the chair is low. I also plan to use it in the car for long road trips which will resume post Pandemic.

I really love this cushion. I suffer from sciatic pain in my right leg which is aggravated by long period of sitting. This cushion is amazing. The memory foam is extra firm and designed in such a way that immediately improves your posture. It also radically reduces any kind of pressure on the sacroiliac joint and the piriformis muscle. I am so glad I got this pillow. It also comes with an extra cover. Another plus is that the cover is made with a faux crushed suede material, so the pillow is actually quite attractive, so you can take it with you without looking like a complete basketcase. This is definitely worth the price ($24.95).

I got this for my hunting stand chair which my husband says is uncomfortable. It hasn't made it out there, yet. However, I decided to try it in my work chair and it has done wonders! I had back surgery about three years ago and while it did work, it's that thing, "Once you've messed up your back..." This cushion takes the pressure off my coccyx and levels out my back to relieve my occasional hip pain. The cushion is soft but solid. I haven't used the back bolster cushion as of yet. If you do not move, the cushion does not move. I'm about to purchase another for my work chair so this one can go to the hunting stand. Would recommend.

Thickness and comfort is good however... The zipper used on the black cover is some type of plastic and did not hold very we. Separated on the first use. I am going to try the gray cover next. The inner material is great! Nice and cool and the thickness is good.

At first the breathable cover was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sit on it for more than a few minutes I was thinking this was a bad purchase but I looked up how to soften the synthetic fabric, I did that and it was bearable and after a few days of sitting on it I started to feel a bit more comfortable on it.I bought this to replace an old cushion with a softer cover and had to swap between the two for a while until I got used to the new one.If you are prepared to give this a few days to break in then it is worth it but if you need instant comfort then a cushion with a softer cover will be a better choice.

My tailbone always hurt after I sit at my desk for a long period so I started looking into cushions that would help relieve that. I purchased this seat cushion because of the high reviews and the company's promise of a lifetime guarantee. Well, this cushion does work. With this cushion, my tailbone doesn't hurt as much as it used to when I sit. The foam material is firm but not hard, giving good support without feeling uncomfortable. I also like the softness of the cushion cover and the attached handle for easy carrying.So why only 3-stars? Well, that's because I don't know how long this seat cushion will last. I bought two at the time of purchase and used one cushion more than the other. Even though the description of this product says it "will never flatten; no matter how many times you sit on it or how long you use it for," I can definitely feel a difference between the two cushions. So far I've had these cushions for about a month and one is already starting to lose it's shape and feel more flat than the other, which is why I'm skeptical it'll last for as long as the company is claiming it'll last. But then that's where the lifetime guarantee comes in, right? We'll see how well that guarantee works when the time comes.This is my first ever purchase of a coccyx seat cushion so I can't say how it compares to other brands.

This pillow surely is oddly shaped. And I don’t think it’s memory foam, it’s very hard. But that’s just what I needed. I was in an accident a few years ago and have been struggling with neck issues and cervogenic migraines ever since. It’s been hell. One wrong move and my neck is in pain for days and I feel terrible. I have found some thing that have helped this year but was finding that I was still waking up with neck issues many mornings. I would end up trying to prop my head under my jaw with my hand or another pillow. I have a shredder memory foam pillow and would try and burrow our a spot for my head when my ears and nerves in my neck were too tender. When I saw this I thought it was worth a try. Holy hell it’s perfect. Yes it’s a very weird shape, yes it’s very, very firm. But it’s exactly what I needed. All the pressure is on the side of my face, not my head or neck and somehow it holds my head in the perfect position all night. I wake up with less pain, not more.This pillow might not be for the average neck tension from desk work person. I read some of the reviews and I don’t think it’s a size issue, I’m a very petite women. I think it’s just everyone’s neck issues are different. But it’s a been a game changer for the pain that manifest deep in the bottom of my skull/top of neck that causes migraines. Really worth a try if you cannot seem to find the right way to prop your head at night. I figure I can always switch it with my other pillow, but it will be my go to during flares.Update- I’ve bought my second one of these and it’s much softer. I’m not sure if that was a planned change but I actually like it even more. Now I use it every night and it’s so comfortable. The first one was hard so sometimes I would want a break from it, even though it did work great. I recommend it to anyone with neck issues, it’s still a staple in my life.

Having had this pillow for a few weeks now, I can safely say it's amazing. I sleep through the night with no readjusting my pillow and my sleep is deeper and more restful than ever. It was a bit uncomfortable at first since I hadn't figured out just how to position myself on the pillow but, once I got it right, it's been pure magic. I didn't notice any smell from the pillow like others mentioned but I got mine in the middle of the day and opened it up immediately so it did have a few hours to air out. (Note: It really only allows for very particular head placement so you can't really be further on either side comfortably which makes cuddling a challenge, in case that's a concern for you. This is definitely not a sexy pillow; it's all about you individual comfort. )I'm primarily a side sleeper but I will often sleep on my back. On my side, pillows were never tall enough (or sometimes too tall) for my neck to be positioned properly and it always felt like there was something missing. I kept trying to bunch up the corner because I wanted something to support my chin. On my back, I had similar issues where I would pull the bottom corners of the pillow down over my shoulders to try to get some side support for my head so my neck isn't overly stretched going left or right.I have tried so many types of pillows over the years (memory foam, down, gel, contoured, firmer, softer, etc.) trying to find my perfect pillow. I also tried a normal pillow while wearing a travel neck pillow but it was a bit much. I didn't really suffer from neck pain but would wake up several times in the night to readjust my pillow.This pillow solves all of my sleeping problems. It's a good height and the indent for your head makes it more comfortable but you can find that in any other contoured memory foam pillow. What really sets this pillow apart (for me) are the wings (?) or flanges or whatever and the tilt of the pillow. The wings give support for both side and back sleeping - giving me something to support my chin and hold on to when on my side, and keeping my head from going too far to any one side when on my back. The tilt of the pillow, bringing the wings down over your shoulders and allowing space underneath them so your head is cradled all around by pillow.

I have some medical conditions, I bought the pillow to help manage mostly the pain and discomfort.The pillow is soft enough for my fibro and comfortable enough for me to lie on it for an extended amount of time.The cooling gel pad is a small square in the center of the pillow where you rest your head and isn't that great. Initially, I thought the pillow didn't come with the gel pad. I misunderstood and thought the gel was a filling in the pillow itself like other cooling pillows. This pillow instead has a pocket with a square gel pad that can be removed. The cooling it gives off isn't great, it works slightly better if you remove it and place it in the fridge for a bit. The pillow case is a little thick which is what makes the pillow more comfortable but doesn't really allow the cooling feeling to come through as well.The pillow comes already in the pillow case with an extra pillow case, I guess to use while you wash the other one. The foam pillow, itself, comes in zipped in a much thinner cloth case that has the pocket with the cooling gel pad.The pillow has a grid of holes in the center of the pillow, I guess for the "breathable" part but with the two pillowcases (the thinner one that holds the gel pad and the actual softer but thicker exterior case) it doesn't feel very "breathy"... which may or may not be another reason the cooling gel pad doesn't come through that well.For orthopedic uses, I think the pillow works well. I've been using it since it arrived and find it to be very comfortable despite my severe case of fibromyalgia. The foam is formed in such a way that allows me to rest both my head and hands as I like to raise my hands near my head and there are dip spots to rest your hands there. I enjoy this design feature.The pillow so far hasn't deflated much at all over every day use since it arrived. The foam seems to be fairly firm but has just the "right" amount of give to not be uncomfortable or stiff.I would recommend this pillow if you're looking for an comfortable orthopedic pillow but maybe not if you're looking for a cooling pillow.

Bought the charcoal version. I’m really happy with the firm support with enough flex for it to be comfortable. I like to sleep on my back, this supports the neck very well and I think it could reduce snoring for some conditions. It’s smaller than an average size pillow but I don’t find this an issue. It comes with a quality washable cover. I took a risk buying it as it’s quite pricey but I’m happy and recommend it.

This is definitely a hard memory foam pillow. Literally it’s not considered as soft and comforting compare to many other product. I was very excited to receive this pillow. I should have known better that the old saying, You get what you pay for, is always true. I was hoping this pillow would cradle my head and neck between two sides. It did not. It was very flat and the shape was hardly noticeable. I would recommend you spend an extra $20-30 and get a good pillow.
