This is one of those products where at first glance you go"hmm interesting but I probably don't need this". But then you decide to try it or someone recommends or gifts it to you, and you go "I never knew this was something I needed in my life". It's great for at the gym, and stays out the way and wears so well you forget it's there. I'm not sure if any of the accessories are needed or any good. But other than that this thing is great. It's also become a must have for travel, or at the very least international travel, and it's a great thing to pack even if you only wear it through TSA. And it's so light and small you can throw it into anything and bring it along just in case. It's more comfortable and convenient than those travel wallets and slings that tuck under your clothes. And you can wear it on top of your clothes and it stays hidden flat under your shirt. Combine that with the zipper and you have a really comfortable and secure travel wallet/document and item holder. Or a place to store some extra cash and a few items in case your main sling or bag gets stolen. And if you workout while traveling, you have your workout belt so you can just take a key and some emergency cash and some ear bud headphones and workout anywhere just like that.Pro tip, for working out, especially if you are a morning exerciser, I pre-pack the belt the night before so I can wake up, throw on some running pants, slip the belt on and go out the door in around 5 mins.

My wife loves this thing, she uses it for roller skating mostly but says it holds everything snug and is very comfortable. build quality is great.

I believe this is one of the BEST belts out there, and the front zipper pocket is much sturdier and has less shake than the rest of the belt (worth it to get this Elite series vs the original)...HOWEVER, the zipper and the zipper stops are hard plastic and metal components resting against your phone screen or cameras. This has the potential to cause scratches. I put rubber padding between these stops and my phone to prevent any touching. Please re-do this product to have the zipper on the TOP EDGE of the belt, not in the center, this way there is no way any phone can get scratched.

Great quality !! I love that it has a front zipper to secure my things & a zipper to take on/off. I bought this to wear to a TOP concert, not bulky, no slipping , easy access and you couldn’t tell that I was wearing it

I want to love this running belt. I really do. It stays in place when I run. It has a pocket big enough for my phone and it doesn't bounce. It has a side zipper so you don't have to shimmy into it. All in all it should be a great running belt.Unfortunately the front zipper pocket (that is supposed to keep your phone secure) is a horrible, cheap design. After less than 10 runs, the zipper came completely off when I unzipped it to put my phone in. And of course this happened at the start line of a half marathon with less than a minute to the start. So much for a secure pocket. After the race I was able to get the zipper back on, but then it started falling off of both ends. There is no stopper at either end to prevent the zipper from going completely off. After trying to not unzip or zip it all the way for several months, I finally tried to modify the belt myself to fix it. I added several stitches to one side and used a safety pin on the other side to keep the zipper from fully going either direction. Did it look good? No. Did it work? Kind of.Fast forward a few weeks of running with this "fix" and then this past Saturday at a 5K, the zipper broke off from the MIDDLE of the zip. There is no fixing it this time.As I said, I want to love this belt. It is a great design apart from a horribly poor quality zipper. I have tried several other belts and they all ride up and bounce a lot. I am just struggling to spend $50 on a new Flipbelt just to have it break again in a few months.Unless they fix their design, I would unfortunately suggest looking elsewhere.

I thoroughly researched running belts before buying, and I'm so glad I chose to try the FlipBelt Elite. My iPhone 12 fit in the zipper pocket and it truly did not move while running. I tested it on an 18-mile run carrying gels and other items, and I forgot I was wearing it! I have full confidence to use this for my upcoming marathon now! Before buying, I read reviews complaining about two things: phone not fitting and problems zipping it up. Now that I've tried it, I can say my iPhone did fit (with my otterbox case), it just takes a little patience because it doesn't slide in as easily as other items in the open compartments. But once it's in, it's secure and doesn't move at all while running! For the zipping issue, I put mine on already zipped. I only use the zipper to unzip when I take it off. It's much easier to get it on zipped. Totally recommend!

I was skeptical if this product was everything it says it was. But it is! It's minimal, not bulky; it stays in place, no sliding or folding; it carries your essentials when running. I'm a fan and I've already recommended this to a few friends!

I bought size M as it is usually my size. But it was missing 10 cm / 4 inch to close it on my body !!Thanks God, I order with good seller : Amazon. So I could return it.As replacement, I decided to go for 2 sizes larger (XL) as M was really so small. But the XL now looks too big. It fits on my body but it looks like not tight enough with risk of moving down when loaded. Therefore, I decided to return the XL and order the L as replacement. Bingo, this time it was the right size. I have done couple of 2 hours run and it worked great. As conclusion, product looks OK on the paper but selecting the right size for the body is not so easy !Otherwise, I feel that it is not so easy to put the bottle inside in the back, potentially impossible while running. The marketers show video of nice woman fitting the bottle very easily in the belt in the back with one hand. In reality, this is almost impossible. You need to turn the belt and use your 2 hands to open the opening in the belt and fit the bottle. Typically, I stop to but the bottle back in the belt. Anyway, I don't like to drink while running...

I was using it to carry my belongings like a wraparound fanny pack, hanging around my pants, without having the intrusive looks. It works great except for a couple of issues. The key holder is a flimsy plastic thing. If the zipper is metal, then why can't the key holder be meta/aluminum?The second issue is the zipper on the front pouch. As you can see in the photo, there is absolutely no stopper there to keep the zipper from falling off. The only thing that stops it from falling off is the soft fabric. Usually, a thicker piece of metal is molded there to prevent the zipper from sliding off.Another issue is that the zipper compartment is not attached to other compartments. This means that I only have two holes to access my stuff wrapped around my waist. Also, because the stuff from the left pocket can slide to the front, accessing the items in the middle becomes difficult to retrieve unless I can somehow access those items from the front pocket, but I cannot. Because the backside of the front pocket is not water proof, I don't understand why bother adding an extra fabric between these two different compartments.

I paid $26 for this through warehouse deals and, for that price, I’m happy. The zipper makes the belt heavier than others and the material is surprisingly thick (and hot). I have a Nathan that I think I like better. What the zipper means, though, is that the sizing is snugger than the Nathan since one doesn’t have to get it over one’s hips and there’s less bounce. Quality is excellent.

Really good quality! I wanted a study belt with lots of storage after finding out you couldn't wear hydration vest at the NY Marathon. This was ideal!I already had the original but this was far easier to get on with the zip when it was full of race day essentials! I still use my original when I'm only carrying a few bits though for shorter races...Thsi one has lots of space for packets of energy chews, tissues and all the other essentials plus it has a separate zipped compartment for your phone so that doesn't get 'lost' somewhere around the belt! Plus it has the extra added bonus of being able to pin you race number on to it without ruining your favourite running tops! Super pleased!

This is a great product. I was skeptical of its effectiveness and value initially, but after fairly extensive use in a myriad of activities/situations, I can honestly say it was worth the money and a great buy.I have used the FlipBelt in a range of activities, including "outdoor" and sports-activities (e.g. running, hiking, snowboarding, biking, and even swimming in pools and the ocean) and it's worked excellently. I've also used it when attending concerts, trade shows, and even a multi-day music festival- it's worked well in those situations also. One use-case that I hadn't originally considered when I purchased the FlipBelt was "casual everyday use," though I've been particularly happy with the FlipBelt using it in that manner. To clarify, typically, I carry quite a few items around with me everyday (e.g. A full set of keys, two smartphones, a bunch of cards, maybe some cash, sometimes lip balm, and sometimes more). With the most comfortable clothing I own (or formal/dressy clothing for that matter), I simply can't carry those items (not well, anyway)- said items carry awkwardly, noisily, and sometimes uncomfortably. In addition, often-times, the outline of those items in my pockets looks terrible, and certainly stunts efforts of "trying to look nice or dress-up." With a FlipBelt, I literally wear whatever I want to wear- comfortable, classy, slimmer-fitting, no-pockets, loose and light, whatever- owning a FlipBelt, I can comfortably carry around any or all of the items I usually carry- bulky or not. (The FlipBelt is actually fairly inconspicuous, even when worn with "less forgiving" clothing, and it remains so for me, even when I'm using it to carry "all my stuff.")After owning one for a while, the FlipBelt has easily worked its way into my regular wardrobe- its too convenient and common-sense an "accessory" to NOT use, at least for me anyway.I no longer have to pick out an outfit for any activity based on how many pockets I'll need, or how much stuff I'll be carrying around. The FlipBelt stretches well to accommodate all manner of "cargo," and it holds it all well, in-place, without causing discomfort. A smartphone such as an iPhone 5s, for example, fits very easily, and an iPhone 6 or Samsung S5 or S6 fit also, though with a little stretching- it's still fairly easy to slide those phones into and out of the FlipBelt "pockets," however. I haven't tried a Samsung Note 4 or the iPhone 6L, but I have little doubt that those types of phones could be carried in a FlipBelt, though with those "phablets," there would obviously be a bit more stretching. Quickly removing or storing something like a Note 4 or a iPhone 6L (while wearing the FlipBelt) would be a little bit more cumbersome, too, I imagine, but certainly still do-able.The built-in key-clip/lanyard is a fantastic feature, and it ensures that you won't lose your keys/key-chain, regardless of the activity you're doing. The clip is also very handy for things like work/resort/casino/hotel key-cards, access-cards, and discount-cards, provided they have some kind of hole punched through them or some other method of attachment. To me, it makes sense to punch a hole into most of my cards (away from any integrated security-chips or magnetic-strips) so that I could "key-chain them together," or otherwise secure them when necessary- the FlipBelt's key-clip/lanyard feature is quite nice for that purpose. The lanyard portion is also (for me) just the right length and "stretchiness"- it's not so short that you can't even get the keys out of the belt, and the lanyard length also happens to make it easier to "fish the keys out" of the FlipBelt, by pulling on the lanyard itself.Even when carrying a bunch of items (like the example "cargo" I listed above), the FlipBelt is still surprisingly comfortable- the material it's made of breathes well, it's fairly durable and retains "stretchiness" well, it washes easily when necessary and whole belt dries relatively quickly when washed or taken swimming. Further, (as long as it's sized correctly) the FlipBelt feels almost invisible while worn directly against skin, or even when it's worn over other clothes. The continuous "wrap-around" design of the FlipBelt's "pocket" allows for "adjusting" the placement of carried items without requiring that the belt be removed. The ability to "adjust" the placement and orientation of carried items throughout the FlipBelt's wrap-around pocket, and through its cloth, while still being worn, makes it easy to "flatten" a loaded-up FlipBelt for appearance and comfort purposes. It is due to this ability to "adjust" carried items that I find the FlipBelt able to stay relatively inconspicuous in many outfits, for many activities, and a wide-range of carrying-ability, all while being quite comfortable. To me, the ability to make said "adjustments" to carried items while the belt is still worn, is a critically-important design-aspect that should not be overlooked.A Few Considerations:I originally had reservations about the design of the FlipBelt, since it doesn't "come-apart" like a belt (there is no buckle, velcro, or zipper)- you don the FlipBelt by sliding it over your head and down your body, or the opposite-way- that seemed like an hassle to me at first; like it was a design-oversight, or a bean-counter eliminating features or some other cynical explanation. In using the FlipBelt, I must say that it's design allows it to be light, comfortable, non-chaffing, easy to rotate-around your body, inconspicuous, and durable. I doubt, now, that having something like a buckle or zipper would have improved the design- in fact, I think it would have detracted quite a bit from my positive experience with the FlipBelt thus-far.Even when considering the design of the FlipBelt's pocket-openings (there are four, evenly spaced around the belt, if I recall correctly)- they have no closing-mechanism; no zippers, no Velcro, no buckles, but the FlipBelt still contains all of my stuff well nonetheless. The explanation for this lies in the ability to store items into the wrap-around pocket of the FlipBelt, and then literally flipping the belt inside-out while wearing it- this faces the four pocket-openings of the FlipBelt snugly up against the wearer's body, thus preventing the FlipBelt's contents from falling-out (provided the belt is sized correctly to the wearer).[Incidentally, I believe the suggested waist-sizes are relatively accurate, or at least it was in my case. I don't believe that FlipBelts should be considered to "run large" or "run small," but of course, your mileage may vary.][Disclaimer: I am not in any way whatsoever affiliated with or compensated-by either Amazon, any FlipBelt resellers, nor the FlipBelt manufacturer. I wrote this review of my own volition as an individual customer.]

I was looking for a way to keep my phone with me while working out. I knew about armbands, but really didn't like the idea of having my phone wrapped around my arm (just doesn't seem very comfortable to me). Plus, I didn't really want to end up with an armband tan if I used the armband outside. The only other thing I could think of was a fanny-pack type belt (attractive, eh?), or a belt made only for phones (meaning it couldn't hold anything else). While searching for something like that, I happened upon the FlipBelt. The idea of the FlipBelt is fantastic. It has all the benefits of a fanny pack without the bulk and...well, let's face it, the fanny pack is just not something I want to invest in. The FlipBelt is snug, hides easily under the bottom of your shirt, and actually is attractive thanks to the slim profile and awesome colors. I have used it a few times while using the elliptical and doing other workouts, and it stays in place very well. My phone is VERY secure. If you're still concerned about the phone (or whatever else you put in it), you can flip it over (hence the name) and it will keep everything in place without having to worry.Another big benefit of the FlipBelt is the fact that it can be used in situations other than working out/running. I see this coming in very handy for hiking, traveling, going to a concert, etc. It's discreet, safe, can hold a fair amount of stuff (phone, cash, credit card, key, etc.), and is comfortable. It is also easy to wash. I threw mine in the washing machine with similar clothes, and hung it to dry, and it is perfectly fine. For sizing, I would recommend reading through reviews to find out what other people have ordered. If I had ordered based on the sizing chart, mine would have been too big to stay on well. I am 5'7" and weigh about 135, and ordered a small. A medium probably could work, too, if I wanted it a little less snug.Bottom line - if you work out regularly and need a place to stash your phone/keys/money, stop searching and buy the FlipBelt.

How A Running Belt Can Enhance Your Workout

Running belts enable you to keep your essentials close when running, hiking, or any other physical activity. They are a valuable tool that can change a cumbersome ordeal into a comfortable day on the trail. They are not all the same, though. There are various features you could have on your belt that can make or break it as a running companion, but with some thought, you can find the perfect one.

What to Look For in a Running Belt

Running belts must be durable, moisture-wicking, and comfortable to wear. Because of their purpose, you will always be engaged in intense activity when wearing a running belt. These features will ensure your comfort, safety, and ability to perform at your best. Also crucial is the belt’s weight and capacity, including organizing features. A lightweight belt will be barely noticeable on your waist, and a well-organized storage structure means ease of use, as well as security. Finally, don’t just grab the first running belt you see. There are a variety of colors and designs available, so you can find one you love and enjoy wearing.
