These hold my books very nicely and I love how they look, as well.

These are so pretty and they do the job well, they hold up my books on my bookcase. I love the honeycomb design and the gold paint, it really classes up my bookshelf!

I have bookshelves that are pretty full and I also use 8-10 books for work reference when I am working at home. These bookends offer a stylish solution for storing them on my desk and having it look less cluttered, but still accessible when I need to grab one from where I am sitting.

These bookends are very pretty. They hold the books on my desk top and make them take up less space than my old bookends. They are fine as long as I don't move any of the books that are sitting directly on them. Then, they start to slide if I don't catch them quickly.

So pretty but unfortunately if you have tall hardcovers it doesn’t take the weight and the books push it out and everything topples. Shorter less heavy books would probably be fine.

Sturdy and pretty

Needed something to keep my quilting books and magazines in place. These work great and, to me, they have a tumbling block design. Also, the white goes with my sewing cabinet!

I wanted some white bookends for our white bookcase, and wanted something simple. These fit the bill and I'm very happy with them. They are heavier than I expected, have a clean design that looks great, and seem quite sturdy. Only one of the bookends had felt pads on the bottom to protect surfaces, which I thought was odd. I imagine the intention is that they would be pushed together so that the one with the felt pads slides under the other, but that would really only be in the case of a small grouping of books. I have mine split up on two different shelves, with one end of each row of books pushed against the side of the bookcase, so I needed to add felt to the bottom of the other bookend. They have no problem standing up to a good size row of books. I really like them and think they'd even be a good gift if you know someone who is a big fan of books.

Fine metal bookends, do their job, look great, don’t take up extra space on my shelves.

I like these book ends. I have three pair in white and three pair in black. They look nice, don't take up room on the bookshelf, and hold any size book.

These are very nice large durable beautiful bookends. I was working on some shelving organization & ended up in me needing bookends and these look fantastic. They look nicer in person then they do here which is NOT saying they don't look good here because they do look even better in person. I had some taller books and needed something just right and this was exactly what I needed. They're sturdy and strong yet beautiful and elegant. They definitely look lighter then what you think they can hold. They're actually as I said quite strong and they look good no matter what the style is you're looking for they're going to compliment it. They are definitely giftable but I'm sure you will love them in your home as well. I am so glad I made this purchase. The price for you couldn't be better and they came early and they came in perfect condition. You can't ask for much more when it comes to making a purchase here on Amazon so I am extremely happy I did. I think you'll feel exactly the same way.

These bookends were a great addition to our NYC apartment. We wanted something that would not be too bulky as space is limited, and these were perfect. They hold up really well with a lot of books in the stack, and they add a nice "city vibe" to our apartment as a decorative accent. Solid, sturdy, and made well.

Works well to hold your books in place. However, I’m no longer using as it damaged the bottom of the end books.

I have recently been given several bags of newer books that my friend read and wants to pass to another inveterate reader like me. I wanted to move this collection and while I have 2 other sets of bookends, needed two more for the new location. They are great, and as a former New Yorker, I love the theme.
