Update 4/5/23: The actual device itself is started to stop working after about a year of use. That’s the only reason I changed my review to 4 stars. Other than that it does an amazing job when it works. I would still recommendI was on the fence about which head shaver I wanted to buy, until I came across Groomie. It came in yesterday and used it today for the first time. Just how close it really gets beats my last head shave, which was done with a straight razor from a barber. This product has made shaving my head such a breeze and is extremely easy to use. I recommend this to anyone who is looking at purchasing a head shaver. It gets my bald head seal of approval!

I have now had to send them four emails asking them what type of barbershop level disinfectant needs to be used on the product, and four times they answered me with use water. They have a YouTube that tells you just to use water. Can you imagine going to a barbershop and finding out that all the tools I used were just washed with water instead of disinfectant. The product is good, but can you imagine that the company that makes the product has no knowledge of how it should be properly disinfectant that’s absurd.

Love it! Fits perfectly in my hand, gets a nice close and clean shave and so easy to clean. Battery lasts longer than any other shavers I bought in the past. It's waterproof as well so you can use it in the shower if that's when you prefer to shave. Doesn't leave any razor bumps or cuts. Highly recommend to any guy that is half bald like myself and needs to shave every few days to keep your head looking good. Even after 2 weeks of letting my hair grow this shaver handles it with ease.

As soon as you buy it there will be a sale for 70% off and you'll have to send it back and re buy it witch at that time there won't be a sale, GREAT PRODUCT, just wish they would offer a rebate.

This works must faster and more efficiently than the traditional electric hair clippers that I've been using for years to shave my head.Added benefits: there's no mess as the hair clippings are contained inside the handheld unit until you open it and rinse it out; I no longer need to hang over the bathtub when shaving to prevent the clippings from getting all over my floor.It does work better, however, if you don't let the hair get too long before you shave it off. With traditional clippers I could go longer between shavings (1.5 to 2 weeks), but with the Groomie I need to do it about once a week now, which isn't a big deal, and this does let it look neat and trimmed all the time now instead of reaching the untamed look. It is time saved in the long run though as it's a quicker process to shave the whole head.I'm very happy with the purchase!

Well, after a few weeks of watching reviews of the Groomie, the Freedom, and the Pitbull...I got The Groomie Baldie Pro No Hair Don't Care Kit. Previously I have been getting my $30 baldie from my barber and keeping in under control between visits with the Wahl Balding Clippers. The Groomie Baldie Pro did an awesome job on my doom today. I just got the unit earlier this week and had a few days of stubble to attack. Along with the pre-shave oil and after shave serum, I felt very fresh and barber like once I was done. I will post an addendum after shave #4 or #5. I think after about a month's worth of use, I should have additional details how my skin responds. Cheers!ThatGuyHerb
