Swallowing is easy, there was no color change or smell in my urine, no after taste once swallowed before or after eating meals nor did I feel nauseous. I had frequent bathroom trips because I increased my water consumption to aid with weight loss regimen which has caused some dehydration & the bacteria from the detox caused me to have a white coated tongue which develops overnight but with brushing and mouthwash in the morning, it dissipates. I take high blood pressure medications and these supplements didn’t interfere with them by elevating or decreasing my regular range BP but my heart rate has decreased from mid-60’s & lower 70’s to upper 50’s & lower 60’s. It's good not to have a racing heart from simple exertion. I had gas symptoms in my lower back and pelvic area an hour after first time taking. I had a lot of gas throughout the first night but not a bowel movement just the relief from feeling full. Over the next couple of days, I noticed that I wasn’t craving the in-between meal snacks. I felt full without eating anything and no jitters or nervous energy. These are a great appetite suppressant because I definitely stopped my midnight snacking. I didn’t have the detox affect until my third week of taking supplements and bowels are loose not diarrhea like so you can use them while going to work. These supplements are not like taking a laxative. This only lasted for two weeks for me, the remainder of my 1st bottle dosage only served as an appetite suppressant.I did develop the “Keto Flu” and it lasted six days (5-5-22 thru 5-10-22). Naturally, my first thought was COVID-19 so I tested twice and got a negative result. I had flu symptoms that consisted of congestion (clear), severe coughing, body aches, and sore throat. I took over the counter medicine for the flu and got better but I was miserable for a couple of days. After reading that Keto Flu can be a side effect from taking these supplements and that the body is adjusting from feeding off glucose for energy to keto for energy; I felt better knowing it was doing what it should be. The BHB Salt in the supplement help trigger the ketosis to convert from burning glucose to ketones. Ketones become the dominant energy source and the transition in our body can produce flu symptoms during these changes. Fatty acids are transported to the Liver and used in the production of ketone bodies. The body normally cleanses the Liver and Lungs between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. so if you’re awake then the body can’t perform its essential functions that allow for a normal gastric tract which could result in some weight gain.I have incorporated intermittent fasting (16/8) with my diet and exercise regimen. I never liked breakfast, so it was easy for me to fast for 16 hours (8p.m. thru 12 p.m.) and then have Lunch and Dinner in the 8-hour window (12 p.m. thru 8 p.m.). I take one supplement before lunch (8:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m.) and one supplement after dinner (8:00 p.m.—10:00 p.m.). It was okay for me to take supplements without food at the same time. I wasn’t weak or nauseous throughout the day; I just don’t think of food and before you know it hours have passed. I have a salad or fruit for lunch. I have fish, seafood, or chicken with vegetables or soup for dinner and I’m not much for snacking in-between meals because snacking was my problem. On some Fridays, I eat from whatever Restaurant I choose and on Sundays, I still enjoy Sunday Dinner (Soul Food) with my extended family with no rules for eating nor do I count calories on any day. I never cared much for bread, so I eliminated that and sweets have been cut by 2/3rds. Although I give myself two days to defer from healthy eating, I still don’t indulge outside the perimeters too much, but I do treat myself to a little sweet reward for due diligence every 2 or 3 weeks if I crave something.My goal is to lose 85 pounds with NO target date, just do it. I started taking these supplements on April 14, 2022, with my highest weight at 257.6 on April 5, 2022. I now weigh myself every Thursday and after two months which is 1 bottle of Supplements, I lost 16.7 lbs. My weekly weigh-ins are as follows: 4-14 @ 253.3/ 4-21 @ 251.9/ 4-28 @ 250.5/ 5-5 @ 248.4/ 5-12 @ 247.6/ 5-19 @ 245.0/ 5-26 @ 244.7/ 6-2 @ 244.4 /6-9 @ 242.9/ 6-16 @ 240.9. Some weeks the loss was miniscule, but I learned to focus on the word loss and be grateful it wasn’t gain.I’m experiencing mental challenges with the adjustment of having to reevaluate how I approach eating. I’ve have acknowledged that my consumption pattern consists of habitual, copycat (what others are eating surrounding me), and bored food intake. I’m learning to eat for sustenance only. I have also cut my viewing time of paid television by 90% because the advertisements mostly consist of food and restaurants which served as a trigger for eating. The Fasting helps with disciplining me from just eating without cause (gluttony) and these Supplements help tremendously with suppressing the desire to indulge. The healthier style for me is the one- or two-pounds loss per week over an extended period. I have a greater chance of keeping the weight off with lifestyle changes that include my mental attitude towards healthy eating, exercising, and fasting. I’m working on the exercise but so far it’s been for only 1 or 2 days every other week. I have a recumbent bike, treadmill, and workout DVDs, so I have no reason not to. I’m sure my weight loss regimen will improve once I commit more fortitude towards my target but for now this is the stage I’m in. Writing in my Journal each day everything I consume helps to control my eating too. I don’t want to see a page full of food items listed and I won’t lie to myself. I love the boost these supplements have provided for me to achieve a part of my goal and I am now using my second bottle, so I definitely recommend these Supplements.
