The quality of this cable is excellent as it the performance.... Reliably gets throughput at 50GB/s. The flat design is a bit more of a challenge to work with as it does impact the flexibility of the cable, but it is excellent for applications where the cable is clipped (with provided clips) to a baseboard or run underneath carpeting, baseboards or moldings. There are no interference issues either.Excellent quality..... I'd recommend it without hesitation.... But I do note that if absolute flexibility is a must for you, this flat cable is probably not one you want to fight with -- round cables are more flexible. If, however, you want to run the cable underneath carpeting or other things, this cable is excellent for that.

Late 1970's at Intel Santa Clara VI: The first time I bread-boarded the new Ethernet logic design from Xerox PARC, I didn't have CAT anything cables. I used an RG rated coaxial cables. One end of the connection required 3 18" x 18" bread-boards populated with ECL chips (as the more common TTL chips were not fast enough). It wasn't long before the three 18" boards were engineered to fit on a 5" x 9" board with a lot of space taken up by interface area. Today its plug & play.

We had an old CAT5 cable around and my son used that for gaming, but it was slightly damaged. We bought this CAT8 cable and, in his speed test, it was about 8 times faster than the old cable. It's also great that it's flat. It runs across a carpeted floor and we hold it down with gaffing tape, so no one trips on it. I wasn't sure if CAT8 would be backwards compatible, as I doubt our house is wired with that, but it works great.

Bought these out of curiosity. Ran a test with current Cat 6 cord. Averaged 645 mbps. Installed this cord, ran new test under same conditions. Averaged 718 mbps. Worth the small investment for me. Will buy again for future needs.

I bought the 100 foot cord and it took my wife and I an hour to unravel it. It was brutal. You just can't get out the twists. Fortunately I am going to run mine through the celler so it won't make much of a difference . I would take a good look at the picture of the cord if you want to buy one and make sure that it looks solid. If you are going to use this cord anywhere where it can be seen it's not for you.

So, I bought the best GAMING PC BUILD POSSIBLE. YES, IT WAS A LITTLE OVER 7K. ASUS ROG SRTIX Z790 MOTHERBOARD.... for the life in me I could not get the wifi past 15mbps!? All of my other consoles and devices soaking up 600-900mbps, but my high end pc, 15 mbps?! I gave up on troubleshooting and setting up... I came across this cat 8 ethernet, bought it and BOOM, 150MBPS. 50FT WERE USED TO THE LAST INCH, BARELY REACHED MY PC. I'M SOAKING IN HIGH SPEED. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ETHERNET, BUY IT! BUY IT NOW!

After researching ethernet cable download and upload speed (I didn't know it varied based on cable category) I decided to upgrade from my generic grade ethernet cable (you know, the simple, flat, grey type). I think it's a cat 6 but, I'm not sure as there is no number printed on the cable. After receiving and hooking up, I did several internet speed tests. Oddly, my old, generic cable delivered faster up/down speeds. So, I'm disappointed.On the plus side, the cable is designed well. I like the flexibility and sturdiness of the design.

Le son était un peu voilé et l'extension dans l'aigu n'était pas phénoménale, un des changements que j'ai fait est d'installer ces câbles ethernet Cat-8. Leur blindage est excellent. Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai retrouvé une belle luminosité dans l'aigu lorsqu'il y a des triangles, des cymbales et les notes aigues de flûtes ou trompettes, un sentiment d'ouverture, Dans les basses, plus d'impact. Belle amélioration à frais très raisonnables. Règle générale et en immense majorité, ce que j'ai acheté d'Amazone était d'excellente qualité.

I did a test and compared between my old cat 5 cable to this cat8 and had noticed an increase in internet speed. I tried to play a few games and noticed faster online gaming speeds.

Very sturdy, strong and high quality!! This is a well made cable, and even included tie downs for clean routing along baseboards or desks etc.

These cables "click" properly into place in whichever Ethernet port I plug them. They are well constructed, and I have always had a solid and stable network connection with them.
