I really like these compared to the awkward spouts that takes three hands to operate. Easy to use and fit all of my cans fine. Glad someone is making a quality spout replacement.

I have many broken spouts on all my gas cans because they have that stupid locking nozzle so I ordered these.They come with two different caps. The spout cap screws on too. They look like their good quality so far but haven’t tested them yet that’s why I can’t give 5 stars yet

When I open the first flexible spout and put it on my gas can it leaked yes it leaked? the spout itself was cracked so gas leaked from it. it could just have been bad luck. they are all individually wrapped so until I need another gas spout I will not know if they are any more damage or bad funnel /gas spout

These do not fit blitz gas cans. Checked my set up multiple times, but it still leaked all over my mower and done the side of my can

I was tired of using the so called no spill spouts that come on all the gas cans now. I have 7 gas cans to fill my boat, jet ski and all my lawn equipment. Those no spill spouts leaked, spilled and were difficult to get to work correctly. They are awful and should be outlawed. When working around a lake, I needed true no spill capability. I turned to these and tried them on a couple of the cans. They are awesome, never spill and the kit has everything you need. I bought more for all my cans. You do need to drill a hole in you can to add the air vent but no big deal. I add a little gorilla glue when I insert that piece. In some cases depending on the can, I reused the can’s original spout piece that screws in to the can as opposed to using the piece that came with the kit. Just a better screw thread fit in some cases. They have held up now for a couple years with no issues and dozens of gas can refills. Never a leak or drop spilled. Buy these.Whoever is responsible for mandating those “no-spill” spouts should be fined and fired. They are terrible and cause waste and spills. They should be banned.

It's a little pricey for what you get, but it works. Nice that they include 2 caps, each threaded for a different kind of gas can. The one that fit my plastic can isn't perfect, but it works well enough. The "flexible" spout is too stiff, but again, it works. The vent cap that you must drill a hole to install leaks a bit but again, guess what, it works well enough. I suppose it's pretty challenging to design a kit like this for virtually all plastic cans. And I LOVE not having to fool with those stupid, over-designed "safety valves" that turn what should be a simple product into a Rube Goldberg job! The little ring on the cap that keeps it connected to the top of the spout broke quickly. My main suggestion that I think would fix ALL the issues I've described: the mfr should use a slightly softer, more pliant plastic. I docked the 1 star for all the little issues. Gave it 4 stars because, guess what, it works! I'll be buying a couple more for my other gas cans.

I have been looking for a gas can that had an easy to use spout for at least five years. The new EPA-compliant cans have spouts that are hard to use, pour slowly, and leak gas everywhere. Between the springs, the buttons, and the other clever levers they are impossible to use!I purchased three of these as a test and they worked great on pre-EPA cans and post-EPA-influence cans and they work great on both styles! I plan to order three more so that all of my cans are using the easy to pour spouts.They give you two styles of caps (one fine thread and one coarse thread). One of my post-EPA cans fit one of the supplied caps, but the other didn't. However, I was able to use the cap that came with the original can with this new nozzle and it worked great -- no leaks.One note: If you have the post-EPA cans that don't have a separate vent then you may want to order "gas can vent kits" from Amazon. They are super easy to install and will make pouring faster and easier.

Made my gas can not suck anymore. Midwest Can Company fuel tank from walmart. Fit perfect. Drilled a 1/2" hole for the breather and used yamabond 4 to ensure it doesn't leak. However, there is a flaw. The rubber gasket on the spout is garbage. I have used it 3 weeks now (one tank of gas) and it leaks. Took it apart to find the gasket is hard, cracked, and shrinking. I bought a rubber gasket from ACE hardware in the plumbing section to fix it. So plan on spending an extra 2 bucks and a trip the the hardware store. Works now.

I had used the same gas can for years and was unaware of the new regulations that had been passed on new spouts. When I had to finally get a new can, I just went to the local box store and picked one up. I found that with the new "safety spout" I was actually spilling more gas on the ground than making it in the tank! Whoever invented the new spouts has obviously never put gas in a lawn mower. Anyway, I ordered this spout kit and solved the problem. The kit comes with 2 screw on flanges, one course thread and one finer thread for whatever type of can you are putting it on. It also comes with an extra gasket, and a cover for the funnel tip so it is completely sealed off when you're not using it. I have not installed the rear vent piece yet, and it really hasn't been needed, honestly, but will install it as soon as the can is empty. This thing works great - no gas spilled anymore!!

The older 5gal Blitz gas can was sold at Walmart for many years. I estimate mine is a 2002 - 2004 model. I mean, if you're a company selling a universal gas can nozzle for older plastic cans, it should fit this Blitz brand first and foremost. Walmart surely sold millions and the cans last forever. Everyone I know has one just like mine Neither threaded cap option fit. The yellow was way too big and the black cap would screw on but was still a very loose by atleast 1/8". The spout itself which fits inside the cap didn't seal to the gas can opening rim well and barely covers it. Plenty of room for gas to leak out - gasket or no. It should cover the rim thoroughly with a good gasket to boot. The spout does have a very slim / meager rubber seal built onto it - but not nearly enough to seal well on my can anyway. The black cap has two protruding wings on the sides which hits the protruding stop built into the gas can. Why is this necessary? The yellow cap does not have these wings. Why include them at all? Even if it did fit, the spout is way too narrow - definitely not a high-flow option. The screen just makes it worse. I gave it a go - and it just leaked all over the ground. Might work on another gas can brand - but not mine.

I gave this 5 stars overall and for its safety features because it has none. What a relief to use the old spouts that pour when you tip the can over without having to use both hands. It fit my can perfectly and I couldn't be happier. And the price is right!

It works on the red gas cans I bought cheaper ones and I wasted my money on them. This is my second order

No vent caps, at least none that fit.

Works very well with my tank, and it gives many options, so odds are it should work for most tanks.

Much better than the unsafe government required spouts that come with the gas cans nowadays.

It doesn't seal up that good around the gas jug and top area. It does the job as long as you don't have it tilt almost upside down.

they fit my plastic cans good without dripping gas , way better than the ones that come with the cans that are environmentally friendly spouts that spill gas everywhere and take forever to fill the lawn mower

So I wanted to take a minute and write a review of this replacement gas filler cap. I have a blitz 5-gallon and a eagle 5-gallon can. The black cap fit both of my cans tightly. But it fit the blitz a little bit better than the eagle. The Yellow Cap that comes with a kit didn't fit either one. Unfortunately the black cap broke the first time I snubbed it down. I was however able to drill out my old cap and put the pipe through and use it. It seals pretty good but you really got to tighten it down tight. As far as the breather replacement they give you it does not fit my Eagle can. And it almost fits my Blitz can but it's a little too loose and I think it would drip. Overall I'm going to keep it because I had the ability to grind out my old cap so the threads fit perfectly. The problem with mine was a bad tube and this will work for a replacement filler tube. I am a little cautious about buying another one for my Blitz can because his black cap broke so easily. And the original Blitz cap will not work to drill out. Well I hope this helps.

This was a nice little kit. The vent fit well using the 1/2” drill bit per instructions. Gasket, plug, cap and spout all seems of average quality but NEITHER of the two spout attachments will fit Scepter gas cans (one of the most common and affordable gas cans).I wouldn’t have purchased had this been clear from the product description on Amazon.

I have a few plastic (Blitz, rubbermaid, and goff) gas cans I use to fill my zero turn mowers and sub compact tractor. These spouts work well to empty can easily and fast so you don't have to hold heavy can any longer than necessary. Adapting caps fit ok but sometimes don't have much thread holding on spout. But I've never had one come off, just leak a little because I don't want to over tighten and damage threads. Extension works well but I rarely use it because it makes spout to long.Satisfied with purchase, would recommend to others.

This is the second set I have bought. They fit a wide array of cans. Screwing the two spouts together giving you a real long spout makes filling many gas & Diesel tanks easier and prevents spilling. Plus they are faster than all that safety stuff that come on new cans. If your can does not have an air vent, you can make it even better by installing an air vent device on your can. I recommend the "Magicfour Fuel Gas Can Vent Caps, 3 Pack Fuel Gas Tank Vent Caps" available here on Amazon. Their kit comes with everything needed even the correct size drill bit. All you must have is a drill. Buy this stuff quick, the supply line is restricted right now.

Cheap, plastic materials. Yet, they work pretty well. You can use all three pieces of black spout to create one long spout, or use just one or two pieces. Very easy to use. There are enough pieces to create two different spouts, which is what I did. Now I have two, new easy to use spouts on two gas cans.
