Following heart surgery I need to sleep elevated , and on my back. Last night this 7.5” wedge provided comfortable elevation while my sobakawa pillow provided gentle but firm support for my neck and head. I can’t rate long-term use because I received it yesterday, but it worked perfectly last night. I didn’t detect an odor, or slide down while sleeping, but that may have been prevented by the memory foam pillow under my knees. I slept really well. Another tip for heart patients: I also used sobakawa pillows to support my arms to prevent strain on my sternotomy, and for the first two weeks I had much more elevation from an adjustable bed. I would recommend this product.

The wedge is excellent. It is firm but comfortable, and large. My Dr wanted me sleeping elevated. Only problem I've had is that I start out with my head at the top of the wedge, but wake up at the bottom. But that's not the wedge's fault.

It takes a couple nights to get used to sleeping on it. Even longer, if you are a side sleeper. But I have now managed to sleep on it back or side. It has the right height for me. It seems to stop me from snoring and is very comfortable once you get used to it, which should only take a few nights. It puffed up quickly, and I did not detect a chemical smell.

The wedge came on time, was so well made and appeared to be very helpful. BUT, it is impossible for me to use as I cannot lie on it correctly or once there cannot move to be more comfortable. It's hard to move while on a wedge!!

I was skeptical…. The packaging arrived rolled up and once unpackaged the wedged looked to be deformed. I gave it some time to air out and stretch out. Behold the wedge plumped up ! I was impressed it had stiffened up and gain its shape. The wedge provides comfort and support to the legs and allows to sleep well.

My husband needed some elevation to sleep well. This did the trick! It's a little heavy to haul around but he says it's comfortable to sleep on & just what he needed. Wish they made a pillow case type of cover for it . It seems well made & the cover does zip off for cleaning but I am not sure if that will hold up well over time.

I bought this for recovery from a knee replacement. When I had my hip replaced a few months ago, I just used several pillows to elevate my leg, and both legs swelled badly for WEEKS. So I thought I'd give this one a try. Well, it is fantastic. I elevate both legs while I ice the incision, and I even sleep most of the night with both legs up - I think it helps ease my sore back while I sleep. The cover is pilling up, and I'm not super fond of the material that was used, but it's a life saver for elevation. *NOTE* I bought the smaller Standard width, 12" height, and was a bit concerned that it might not be wide enough for me, as I'm not a petite person. It's GREAT. Anything bigger would not be usable on the couch. I also planned to try it it on my upper half to help with my snoring, but I can't seem to get the knack of sleeping that way yet!

This is a superb pillow helping my multiple sleeping issues - sleep apnea, snoring, shoulders pain due to sports injuries and neck sore due to the shoulders pain! i do place a therapeutic pillow on top of the wedge pillow to allow for better side sleeping. I have deeper sleep with this wedge pillow and feeling so much more energised the next day - something i have been missing for so long! Pillow is firm that stays in shape, which i really like it this way. The pillow instantly decompressed the moment i opened the packaging which i am really glad. Sure hope this pillow will go a long way :)

Pillow is fine but turning over at night, it does slide, at least on my bed bath and beyond sheets. I even purchased a wedge to fill the gap between mattress and headboard, which helps to some degree. Hence the 4 star rating. Though some reviews claimed they had no problem with sliding. So guess it depends on your sheets. Pillow is comfortable though, but, we put our regular pillows on top.

A three is good, average expectations. No regrets at the same time. I really like this, but thinking this will be falling apart easy, compared to the other brand I got first. The other one is harder, almost too hard. It’s why I am searching for that medium between too hard and not sinking into sweaty foam quicksand. This one is softer. It’s 50/50 which one I like better. They both are very expensive not to last over the years.I cover these with three cover sheets, so they are well protected. They don’t really see the day of light.I tend to sink down in this 12” Kolbe. I’m 160. It is set beside a 7” harder foam one, of another brand. I end up not noticing the height difference if I’m angled on the edge of this 12” going onto the 7.” Meaning, it sinks or compresses down to the lower one. This may be helpful for two people sleeping in the same bed.However, if I’m exactly in line in the center, it doesn’t sink down as much. (I don’t think.)Durability of it being softer will only see over time.It’s not a mistake to buy this 12” Kolbe. I question its longevity, and wonder if I need a harder foam wedge to be more angled up.No regrets on either. I may try to stack them to see if that’s better. That may be too much though. Regardless, it’s nice to have a room able option if I let people stay at my house. Most people hate my king size bed which is permanently fixed angle. I love it, myself. But this is a nice change of scenery.

I bought this pillow to use after I had ankle surgery. I specifically bought the one that both legs could fit on because it’s most comfortable to me. At first, I was concerned that both legs wouldn’t fit because of the splint I had on. However, both legs fit great and it’s very comfortable. Way better than having to use several pillows stacked together.

I bought this pillow following foot surgery to keep my foot elevated.I am 5’5” and the pillow fits me perfectly to provide support under my knees, and long enough that my heels are still on the pillow. It is light weight, but seems firm enough to wear well and give firm support. It is wide enough that both my legs fit comfortably on it. As a bonus, it helps to relieve the lower back pain that usually plagues me at night.My only complaint is that the handles aren’t in convenient places for carrying/adjusting, but it’s not a big problem. Also, I’m not sure how well the cover will hold up; there is already some pilling from the velcro on my ice packs. I do wish there was a removable cover for washing.I would definitely recommend this to someone needing a leg pillow.

I ordered this cushion to use when elevating my leg after foot surgery. It has been wonderful and comfortable. I love that it is contoured for both legs, but can still be used for single leg. It is thick but cushioned. It is stable and stays pretty stationary, even when sleeping. I am very pleased with this product! My only wish is that it had handles on both sides of the front, rather than just one on the left side but not a big deal. It’s perfect for what I needed!

I just had hip replacement surgery a weekago. And this is a God-send. In the past when doctors have said “elevate” I’ve commandeered the firmest bed pillows from everyone in the household, then stacked them and tried to rest while elevating. Results? Little time elevating and no time resting. The pillows toppled again and again, leg fell off or sunk below where my heart was, pillows had to be re-stacked repeatedly, lower back hurt, didn’t know what to do with other leg so kept changing (on pillows, off pillows))But THIS THING solved all those issues. Brilliant. So glad I invested in it. No doubt will use it post surgery as well, simply for lower back pain relief.

This is a super-comfortable leg pillow! If you are on your feet a lot, have back problems, or are having surgery on the lower body, you need this. The height is perfect and the upper surface is long enough for knees and feet to be on the same level. The cover is soft and washable (although I haven't washed it yet). The only thing I didn't like is it has a slight chemical smell that dissipates within 12 hours. Edit: This pillow also has a raised edge to keep your legs from falling off. Just a great buy.

I fell years ago and damaged some nerves in my right leg, and it became almost impossible to get a good night's sleep because of tingling pains. This has made a world of difference in my life. At first, I thought it might be too confining, but have had no problems sleeping at all while using it. The only negative thing I can think of to say is that it doesn't come with a washable cover so had to make one myself. It is big, but not heavy, so it is easy to move around if you desire.

I like that both legs can be equally comfortable while needing to elevate your legs! Will continue to use after long weeks of work on my legs!

My hubby broke both ankles and had to wear boots on both legs. I bought this to keep his feet elevated. He said it was very comfortable and roomy. The quality was outstanding and the hand grips made it easy to place it in the desired position. I highly recommend it and look foreard to using it myself after a knee replacement.

I originally bought this for when my wife and I watched TV in bed on occasion. I rarely used it, and kept it stored away in our closet. Meanwhile, I was sleeping in the guest bed every night because I snored like crazy. I had a sleep study, turns out I have sleep apnea, the doctors recommended a CPAP... Ugh... I tried it on and couldn't do it. I'm not sleeping with a mask over my face... So one day I decided to try sleeping on the wedge. The next morning, I look over and see a beautiful sleeping wife. This means that I didn't wake her up all night with my snores. She said she didn't have to roll me once. Fast-forward six months, same result every night. *One night she said she had to roll me once* but one night in six months, a single snore, HUGE progress. No CPAP, no living in the guest bed, and best of all, HAPPY WIFE!! I hope this works for some other people, good luck!

After using the flat top pillow one night for my lower legs, I could tell a difference for the better. It arrived promptly and was almost to the full height within a few hours. I wish I had bought it years ago. I will be taking it with me every time I travel and recommending it to friends. I bought the Sleepnitz wedge pillow for my upper torso. They work together well. I use it during the day on top of my bed or couch. Love it! Five stars!

This wedge pillow has been a game changer for me at night! I use my regular pillow on top of it so basically the wedge is an inclined mattress. I had been having terrible heartburn during the middle of the night and would have to use multiple pillows to try and prop myself up to help with it. One night I had a terrible episode of acid reflux and I couldn’t fall back to sleep after feeling like my throat was on fire so I started searching on Amazon for a pillow to help with it. I found this one and have had it for about two weeks now and I have not had even one night of heartburn since using it! That is incredible for what I had been experiencing before! It took a few nights to get used to the angle of it but now my body has figured it out and I think I sleep better altogether with it. My husband has not noticed me snoring either since I’ve been using it! That has been an unexpected positive effect as well. I was thinking before I bought this that I would need to invest in an expensive mattress that I could angle to sleep on an incline. No need for that now! It seems to stay put while sleeping too. This is totally worth the $40!!!

I recently had knee surgery and was told I needed to elevate my legs. This pillow helped with the healing process and was very comfortable. It kept the swelling down. This pillow is nicely stitched and made with a soft material. I continue to use this every night when I go to bed. I even bought a second one for my father who has sciatica pain. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has leg, edema, or who suffers from sciatica. It’s a great product with a great price.

This wedge pillow offers the best/healthiest way to sleep -- not lying flat! 😴 My husband was in the hospital recently and he kept flattening his bed and every time the nurses would raise it up. They said they had to keep his upper body elevated. They can't let you lay flat.There's a learning curve with this for sure, especially if you're not a back sleeper, but it is amazing how much better you feel sleeping this way.My husband's snoring has diminished substantially. I have to use one for GERD treatment and initially hated it but now I cart it with me when I travel. I know -- it's my wedge-of-shame like my dog's clown collar! And I don't care!

I needed a wedge to lift my head when I sleep because every once in awhile I have problems with acid reflux. I ordered this one because it was well-priced and the 7.5 inch height is perfect. It arrived quickly and I used it for the first time last night. At first, it was awesome in every way. I did notice the scent that all visco-elastic has. No problem. I fell asleep quickly but after a few hours, I was jostled from my snooze because I couldn't breathe. I realized that the scent from the foam was quite strong. I assume it got stronger due to the heat of my body. The smell permeated everything, including the down pillows that were laying adjacent to the wedge. I removed the wedge from my bed and had to put the down pillows on the floor because of the strong smell. I then had to rig my other pillows to elevate my head.So, one star off because of the strong smell. I assume the smell will dissipate as the wedge is exposed to fresh air. But be advised that if strong smells are an issue, this may not be the wedge for you.

I found this pillow to be very comfortable for lifting my legs for circulation for resting or sleeping. It might be too short for taller people however. It also could benefit by being wider so you can stretch your legs out wider for comfortable stretching of the hips and groin.

Item arrived fine, popped right up to full size (ships flattened). No heavy/toxic odor which was nice! I got the 7" one, hoping it would allow me to still be able to sleep on my side, but nope. It shows people sleeping on their side, but it is too much pressure on the ribs/hip then after about 5 minutes. I'm almost 60, so maybe that only works for younger people in great shape. LOL Otherwise, the quality seems quite good - I will use it as a loveseat cushion instead.

Such a shame I cannot return this without the hassle of having to put it in a box! The pillow is just way too firm making it uncomfortable for your legs. It serves more as an obstacle than a comfortable pillow for your legs.Forced to leave a negative review because I could not return it without having to deal with packaging!!

This lived up to my expectations of being excellent quality and a life saver when it comes to night acid reflux. I previously had a larger higher wedge pillow which I slipped down all the time and was no good for my chronic back and knee pain caused by osteo arthritis and my reflux. This pillow is perfect - my acid reflux has virtually disappeared and I wake up with much less pain and stiffness.The pillow itself is high quality and I didn't experience any of the poor shape problems people have mentioned upon opening the product when receiving it.

A soft memory foam top with a firm base for comfortable support to sit up in bed to read or lay down to sleep. The wedge decompressed to full size after about an hour without the pillow case. Pillow case is easy to slip off and put back on. Overall very happy with purchase.

It’s been 3 days since I unwrapped it and this is what it looks like. It’s clearly not going to expand any further and I’ve wasted $75. Absolutely do not recommend, this is going to end up in landfill, I won’t even be able to give it away. What a waste.
