I wanted a cute sponge holder for my sink. I had a flat plastic cat in the past and it's ready to be retired after years of use. I searched for a replacement and found this. I am now the happy owner of this 3D kitty sponge holder. I love him.The sponge is fine, but I didn't buy it for the sponge. I wanted the black cat. It holds wider sponges like the one it comes with with ease. The thinner sponges like Scotch Bright work but they are lose. The suction cup holds well. It hasn't fallen into my sink at all and I've had it up awhile and moved it around.I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm sure that most of you considering buying this item wonder if the manufacturer faked the photo buy using superglue. I can tell you that at least on glass, it sticks well for the month that we've had it there, and, of course, it's cute.

Sticks to the side of the sink adorable -hangs onto the sponge adorable- exactly as described—Update:7-27-24 product quit sticking to the sink to the wall anywhere. It was adorable and now I wouldn’t buy it. Does not stick after a certain length of time

I love this sponge holder because it's a really cute twist on a utilitarian item. I do not have it in the sink - I put together some bins to organize our cleaning supplies by rooms, and I got this for the front of the bathroom bin to hold those sponges. It holds to that really well, but it's not in contact with water. It holds a pretty big sponge as I can actually fit two basic (yellow/blue/pink style) sponges in it, one still puffy and new and the other used so it shrinks up a bit when dry. And it's just, again, a really cute accessory. I'm thinking of buying a couple more for our use and for gifts!

I got the black one and the white one, and I love them! They sometimes have trouble staying suctioned to the sink, especially if they're bumped, but overall they're great! I love having a place to set wet sponges. And them being cute is a perfect bonus!

The suction works well in the metal sink. Does not suction to anything else (like the wall it shows one pic) .The sponge it came with was also pretty great.The missing star is because it doesn't fit any other sponge. Most sponges in the US are about 3/4 inch. And the space to hold the sponge is 1-1/2 inches give or take.I have to suction it as close to a corner as I can, and then it kind of rests on the opposite wall. But falls out if I'm too quick to put it away.And it also slides down if water fills the sink, or it gets sprayed.I'm not attached to the sponges I use. So I tried to at least see if they just had refill packs of the sponge it came with, but didnt see anything. And nothing in the store is big enough to fit.So it's adorable as he'll, I'm using it. But it's a bit of a hassle

Super cute but because there's only 1 suction cup, it rotates when you try to put the sponge in the holder which makes the sponge fall out, but willing to deal because it does work I just need to pay attention

This thing is cute but way too big for my sponges. Ive tried every which way, but the thing wont stick to any surface. Only reason i bought this was the proposed performance of the cup. Overalldisappointment, but i like a lot of the other ototo products....

Just be careful and thorough when placing...Sponge is good. Almost all products from this company are extremely adorable. The company has excellent customer service. Have bought many items, for myself, and great to give as gifts. Makes a person smile when walking into the kitchen. Something we all can use for a tiny hope & cope during these tense times.

I really like this. I don't use the sponge often, just to clean my sink when I want to give it a good scrub rather than the daily spray and rub down. It's a durable plastic. The "grate" on the inside that the sponge sits on allowing the water to drain out of it is removable very easily and it all can go in the dishwasher. The sponge can slide off easily when bumped sometimes, but just cocked, not totally off. It's a thick durable plastic that I stick in the dishwasher with no problem. Not all sponges fit in it since not all sponges are the same size (fancy that.) But it's cute, works well for what and where I need it, is a good laugh for people when they first notice it; it would definitely be a good gift for someone, whether as funny, housewarming, "odd gift" or someone that loves cleaning. I gave it 3 stars for value because at the end of the day it's still just molded plastic and so $13 was definitely not a deal.

I ordered this one as well as the black one, and I love them! They don't always stay suctioned to the inside of the sink (especially when bumped), but overall they work great! I love having a cute little spot for wet sponges to dry.

* Update - Seller was very responsive and issued a refund.One of the legs was broken. But my son was heading back to college so I just glued a toothpick to the bottom of the leg rather than deal with a return and then getting another one to him. It is a cute product and my son really liked it.

When we first saw this, our response was, cute! It did not disappoint. It is sturdy and has a place underneath for the leftover water from our sponge to drip. Then it easy to clean!
