Ran a risk or a returned item that got beat up. Good sale price! Package was beat to heck however the speakers looked fine. Quick set up to sync and they are off and running. Sound is actually better than I expected, for the size and price. A little light on bass but they will do fine near the pool or in the patio. Easily transportable, as long as you can find 110 power.

Sound quality is great. For our installation the wire for passive speaker was too short but bought speaker wire and all set. Wish power cord was a little longer but these are great speakers for the price!

I've had these at my parents house in their garage for well over a year now. My brother and I fight over who gets to pair up to the bluetooth to play music or whatever. I also play movies through a projector with these hooked up. They've worked flawlessly for me. No complaints at all.In short - If you're looking for speakers at this price point, you cannot go wrong with these. I'm actually considering buying myself a pair now for camping trips. A+!

The speakers were larger than I expected but the sound was fantastic

I’ve purchased Pyle products before. These speakers are great by the patio or pool area. Sound is good, not perfect, but the ease of blue tooth connecting and not worrying about the weather offsets other minor issues. Mine came with a 5 year warranty card you have to contact Pyle customer service to activate. Nice speaker for a nice price. Happy.

Speakers look great and easy to install. Sound is not to deep, highs and mids are decent; however, not the bass I remember from Pyle in the days of my youth. Not much total volume output either despite being wired and powered directly. The power plug has already come out from the back of the speaker already, but the speaker still works and it can be glued in (be sure not to put much if any tension on the wired power line when installing). Bluetooth is easy to use, just turn on and connect. Using in backyard of a residential neighborhood so bass and volume and bass not big enough issue to return. I guess I got what I paid for.

I was pretty excited about finally getting to use these for a backyard family movie night, but they were a huge disappointment! The sound was very weak and there's no way to beef it up. The first time we tried to use them, I assumed the poor sound quality was because of the ultra thin piece of speaker wire that was included with them. So I bought some nice heavy gauge wire and couldn't wait to try it again but the beefy wire made no difference whatsoever. I couldn't even imagine how that was possible from a "300 watt" pair of speakers. They certainly FEEL very sturdy; after all, they're big and heavy. But they're really just way overbuilt for the minimal sound they produce. We tried everything to make sure there wasn't a bad connection, and while handling them, I discovered that they are NOT 300 watts - not even close. They're a mere 30 (thirty) watts. That made a lot more sense and was much more consistent with the very weak sound. We imagined that watching a family movie in the backyard would be a lot of fun for everyone. We figured there'd be plenty of sound for those of us who were looking forward to the movie, even if some of the kids would rather play with their friends we had over. But the only way we could hear anything was if the kids were absolutely quiet, and having to micro-manage a 'family fun night' was neither fun nor relaxing - just very disappointing.Part of me feels like the "300 watt" description surely must've been a typo, but everything else about these speakers - the price, the size, the weight, even the reviews - is about what you'd expect from speakers with a lot more power than 30 measly watts. 30 watts is nothing to get excited about so it's hard to understand all the rave reviews, unless a LOT of people aren't aware of what 300 watts should sound like. Nobody should have had to strain to hear the movie - and that was AFTER we eliminated any other sound that we felt was competing for 'earspace' - our AC, the kids playing at all, any conversation among the adults. It was just very disappointing, especially because I have no use for speakers of this caliber, so they're just going to take up space until I find a home for them. I got tired of the rechargeable portable speakers.. don’t last as long and aren’t very loud! These work great via Bluetooth and have great sound! I had a pro install them because of the layout of my house but the install is easy otherwise!

After building a new patio we realized we needed speakers. These Pyle speakers seemed like a good solution at a reasonable price. Usually I go with more recognizable brands in Audio like Polk or something, but weather proof systems get so expensive.Out of the box these are so simple and easy to set up. I had these mounted and plugged in in less than 15 minutes. Hooked these up to an outdoor smart plug to easily turn on and off since the switch is on the back of the speaker. I was very impressed with the sound output of these considering they are only rated at 20W per speaker. We can easily hear the music the full length of our bocce ball court. Super easy to connect to either a phone or an Echo device. The bluetooth range is great. We have ours connected to our Echo Dot in our bedroom about 60 ft away and rarely have any connection issues.2 years later and the only issue is a bit of rust on the grill and the bracket. I just popped the grill off, washed it and repainted it and now they look brand new again. They still sounds great and neither speaker cone or tweeter looked like they'd worn much despite being exposed to coastal California weather every day.I just bought another set to add to our new deck. These are so reliable with good output for anything outdoors.

We recently added a gabled roof over our patio. These bluetooth speakers are an added "touch" to all of our hours outdoors!! The sound is amazing and we use them every single day!! So glad we went out on a limb and purchased a brand that we didn't know much about. You will NOT be disappointed with these!!

These outdoor speakers only worked for a few months before they quit working. We were so disappointed in the quality, but hoped it was a fluke and that they’d replace them. After reaching out to Pyle customer support and exchanging emails for a few weeks, they finally told me they would send a replacement. Then almost two weeks later, they send me another email and say that they overlooked my proof of purchase and it’s not actually under warranty and therefore they won’t replace it. Now had they identified and said it wasn’t covered from the get go, I would have been disappointed but understood, but to go back on their word is unacceptable in my opinion. DO NOT BUY! It’s a piece of junk and their customer service is horrible!

These are great sounding speakers - perhaps a little weak on the bass - but overall sound quality is very good. They are easy to install with a multi-position mounting bracket. Connects easily via Bluetooth. I like the powered speakers they provide a powerful sound. I used my own speaker wire to connect the speakers together as I place them about 16 feet a part on my patio.

So far I have no dislikes, they sound great for the amount of watts they are. Have a good amount of bass. Would buy again

First pair of these worked so well sound so good for the price and let me stream music from my phone. I bought a second pair for by the hottub easy to install set up and enjoy

Pyle Wall Mount Bluetooth Home Speaker System - Active + Passive Pair, are okay speakers considering I purchased returned item for discounted price and they fill a medium sized outside space with sound. Sound is slightly and expectedly tinny.The blue tooth connectivity is great.There is an aux port which will use tether projector or computer when displaying outside movies.These speakers will be used for outside movies, mostly.I am happy with them and at a good price.

Very easy to install and connect to Bluetooth, these aren’t high end speakers but they sound nice for what I need, for the price they are great just don’t expect outdoor concert loud from $100 pair of speakers but I’m very satisfied for the price

I would have given this product 5 stars except that it cannot connect via bluetooth to an Amazon Alexa Dot. I don't know whose design flaw that is, whether it is Amazon or Pyle, but it is a huge flaw. These speakers had everything else that I wanted: passive/active, waterproof, an auxiliary input, and great sound when connected to my phone. But I wanted them solely to mount on my porch and connect via bluetooth to my garage Echo, and they are not designed to do that. Big mistake, I can't believe I'm the only customer looking for that. So, sadly, back they go!UPDATE: Found a work around that enabled me to keep these speakers. I purchased a Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver from Amazon for about $40.00 and plugged the Echo Dot into it, connected it to the Pyle speakers via blue tooth, and it works like a charm. Could have purchased a cheaper transceiver but I decided to go for the Pyle thinking that the connection to Pyle speakers should be pretty seamless. I wasn't thrilled that I had to spend addition $$ to get it to work, but the truth is, it works better for me this way. Not only is it a way to use the Echo Dot like I wanted, but with the transceiver I can switch back to my indoor Rocketfish speaker at the touch of a button - even better than I had planned at the onset. So, keeping these speakers and changing my review. For me, the problem is resolved!

Easy to install and easy to operate. Sound is clear and quality of sound is amazing.

I installed these under an awning on the deck. Just two screws secures the brackets . Easy. Good, quick bluetooth connectivity and decent range. I’d say about 30-35 feet. Most importantly they sound great. Good mid-tones, decent bass and true 2-channel stereo. There is distortion at top volume, but it’s plenty loud enough without needing to go to 11. This is a good, solid pair of outdoor speakers at this price point. I would definitely recommend.

They are decent speakers for the money. A little disappointing in audio quality for the price I expected a little better. The Bluetooth works ok but not great. It looses connection with my phone when the phone is 5 feet away inside the house. If it’s line of sight then it’s about 75 feet. The most annoying part is that the Bluetooth speakers will randomly connect to my phone and it will start playing music unless the power switch is shut off. If you mount these high enough that you can’t unplug or shut off the power you will hate life.Update: 3 months later and they are completely dead. Won’t power on or work at all. Customer support is horrible.

I decided to but "used" and save some money, but after opening the box, there's no owners manual or instructions. Now I have to go through the pain stacking task of finding a manual on-line and printing it out. Not what I was expecting. I wanted to open the box and install. Wishful thinking on my part.

Very good sound quality. Perfect for around my pool area. Easy to install. I did notice one of the wire posts was cracked but I won't be taking them down since I have made winter covers for them and they are mounted underneath an overhang.

For the price these speakers work as expected. Easy to install and use. Bluetooth sync is fairly fast and has not failed yet.

Received defective unit and upgraded to 6.5 inch system. Was a hassle free endeavor and I kust commendamazon on great service and return support. New system works great. I have it aet up next to pool and hot tub and sound is more than enough to make neighbour's complain if i crank it up. Only giving 4 stars because of problems with initial unit and trouble of installing and then having to package all back up.
