Watch out for this. Make sure you have down the skill of applying no weight to your double edge razor. I shave my whole body with this and gives me the cleanest shave I've ever had. Sometimes I barely apply any weight at all and I still get a couple cuts. That being said, you can hurt yourself worse if you have to push harder with other blades. I found that each blade stays sharp for weeks. I've been replacing it every two weeks or so, but I like really close shaves, so yours may last longer. And.50 blades for the price, especially when you consider the nice packaging in true Japanese fashion. Simplistic yet elegant.

Many years ago I shaved with such blades, but at some point, switched to those cheap plastic Gillette razors. They were/are very shave and cost effective. Recently, I found my old Gillette Black Beauty. It never was some top-of-the-line double edge razor, but it is well made and in ideal condition. I decided to try using it again. I picked these blades based on the reviews (the sheer number and the rating). I read in general I should get six good shaves out of a blade. I have used it three times, trying to find the best adjustment. On 9 (most open), it wasn't good at all. At 5 (mid-open), it was better, and at 1 (most closed), it was very good. No nicks yet, but I could tell by the third shave, it was starting to ever so slightly pull a bit here and there. Note that after each shave I wash and dry the blade (avoiding any dulling). So I am not yet sure I am going to get to six shaves. I of course realize everyone's growth and thickness will be different, so the number of shaves per blade will vary. But I can tell you that I use those plastic Gillette razors for months at a time (I'm not kidding), and they still shave really well (but I don't shave every single day though; maybe 3 to 5 times a week). I get I'm not the kind that goes crazy with all the shaving accoutrements one can get, nor do I shave myself three times at one time (as I once saw in a video)! Just your basic Barbasol and blade shave. So maybe I'm off here. I will update after I've used these blades more and if there's anything more worth saying. But in all, I'm happy with the quality of these blades at their price point.

My primary handle is a Viking. Of the first package of blades I've found about half were just excellent. A quarter of the bladed are just crap and will scratch your face off and the other quarter one side is great and the other scratches your face off. I've tried to flip them over, switch sides, and use in an antique Gillette. I'll be looking for another brand.

Muy bonita rasuradora, no la he probado aún pero parece de buena calidad, viene en una caja muy bonita y trae una escobilla para limpiarla y una cajita de hojas de afeitar, el color del acabado es precioso, muy recomendado para los amantes de los artículos estilo clásico.Ok, hoy es 2 de octubre de 2024, ya usé la afeitadora y debo decir que es sorprendente, corta perfecto la barba y bigote, las hojas que vienen en la caja son muy afiladas y cortan preciso, algunos usuarios se han quejado de la calidad de las hojas, recomendando que compren otra marca, pero no ha sido mi experiencia, para mi las hojas son de excelente calidad, cuando se terminen compraré hojas en algún comercio local, pero mientras tanto, tengo 10 hojas Viking Revolution para usar por varios meses, excelente producto, para mi es un 10 de 10, calidad precio, lo que no les puedo asegurar es la durabilidad, pero por ahora todo bien. Estoy enganchado con ésta marca, ya he comprado varios productos y me ha sorprendido gratamente, buenos precios y calidad.

I got tired of buying razors that were crazy expensive and left me with ingrown hair, burns and stubble so I decided to find a more cost effective and sustainable alternative.I first purchased a Bambaw double edge safety razor in April 2023 and was disappointed. There wasn’t a single time I didn’t cut myself. Severity ranged between nicks and permanent scarring. It was a very dangerous “safety” razor. The head constantly unscrewed and it clogged up easily. The painted coating chipped and caused rusting. Forget shaving anything with a contour- it was nigh impossible! I’m stubborn and really wanted to commit to reducing my waste, so I stuck it out until one day the handle no longer screwed into the head. It only lasted a year.After some research, I decided to give this one a try. I liked that it had a butterfly opening and textured handle for a sturdier grip. I genuinely believed that all the issues I had injuring myself previously were user error and I was struggling with the learning curve. Not anymore! I have been using the Shaving Revolution consistently this last month and I haven’t nicked myself once! It provides a close shave, a significant decrease in ingrown hairs, and navigates contoured areas with minimal difficulty. I am impressed and very pleased with this purchase!The one drawback is I need to retighten the screw that keeps the blade secure multiple times during use. I’m not sure why this keeps happening, but it’s an annoying inconvenience.

I really like the design, ease of setup, and the high quality shave with this razor. This safety razor gives you around 24-36 hours of closer shave than your typical multi-blade cartridge shaver. I won't go back to cartridge shavers and really like using this one. One negative though. After experiencing 10-15 micro cuts with each shave even after 4-5 shaves I was thinking of upgrading from this shaver. However, I read comments from someone saying to pitch the provided blades in favor of others. I bought a variety pack for a few dollars with some of the highest rates blades and didn't have this issue. Irritation on the neck was also way down. I'd give this purchase a 5 star if they weren't sabotaging their own product with poorly performing "free" blades. I'll make this suggestion to them. For now, I don't see a reason to spend $50+ on a different safety razor. I'm quite happy with this one now that I upgraded the blades. Feather brand blades is what I tried thus far. I do recommend using a higher quality shaving cream with the safety razor for the first pass shave and then I use a cheap brand cream for the second pass shave against the grain.

Ihave been shaving with This razor the last month. I get a smoother shave without any issues and save a fortune over multiblade shavers. It rinses easily and the cost of new blades is tiny. It takes a little longer but my pack of 100 blades should last me 2 years for less than the price of a pack of refils on my multiblade razor.

I've had this for 3 years and it still works and in a good condition. Will be buying more in the future. Make sure you buy extra razor blades.

I am 100% satisfied with this razor. The finish and quality is as good as the WWII razor it replaced. I am seriously pleases.

This is an old school razor like what your dad might have used...I wanted to go old school after that garbage Gillette toxic masculinity campaign 5 years or so ago.I wont use a Gillette labeled product for the rest of my life as far as I see it....The pices all fit together well, using it is simple, ya need to find good blades though, and the blades seem to last me about 3 weeks before replacement is needed... In deference to the 5 bladed over priced disposable razors that last 2 weeks or so... those expensive razors do deliver a slightly better shave, and they cut you less..... If you have zits or anything, you will cut yourself with these, so there is a learning curve in terms of using a safety razor....the longer than usual handle is really helpful.... Now while I am still kinda learning, I am totally in favor of the product, being solid stainless steel, you cant break the razor, unlike the plastic gillete ones. Make sure ya keep it away from your girlfriend... she will cut herself to ribbons with this "bad boy"

El rastrillo llegó bien empacado en una caja de cartón duro que sirve para transportarlo sin que se maltrate, trae 10 hojas en su cajita de cartón, una pegatina, instrucciones, tarjeta de agradecimiento de compra y una pequeña brocha para limpiar el rastrillo. Se nota que es una compañía que se preocupa por la calidad, no obstante la maquinilla es hecha en china, se ve bien terminada, suena algo aunque se cierre bien, No indica que metal es pero pareciera acero y da la apariencia como tipo pavonado que mas bien es como barniz negro brillante, el mango es largo con cuadritos lo que que da un buen agarre y ayuda a manejar el rastrillo, tiene un lado en que sale la hoja un poco mas para un corte mas agresivo, su hechura no es tan robusta y se alcanza a escuchar como va cortando la hoja, la cual viene muy bien afilada . No sé si se debe al tipo de acabado pero con este rastrillo necesité mas jabón para rasurar que con otra maquinilla de acero inoxidable pulido. Como el rastrillo se enjuaga para quitar los restos de jabón y barba, los componentes quedan húmedos y no sé hasta donde llega el agua, pero por si las dudas lo trato de secar y dejar colgado con el mango hacia arriba para que escurra y no llegue a oxidarse. En General me gustó y la relación precio-calidad me pareció razonable.
