I am absolutely blown away (pun intended!) by this portable AC unit! The moment I turned it on, it was like an arctic blast hit the room—seriously, it cools down the space in record time! I’ve had other units before, but none of them chilled the room this quickly or this efficiently. It’s a total lifesaver, especially during those scorching hot days.But... and it’s a BIG but... where are the instructions? I’ve never been so frustrated with a product’s lack of guidance. I had to fumble around for a while trying to figure out how to set it up properly. Once it’s up and running, it’s a dream, but getting there was a bit of a nightmare.If they could just include a clear, detailed manual, this would be the PERFECT product.

This AC unit exceeded my expectations. I saw a mix of good and bad reviews and decided to roll the dice because it’s 10,000 btu and most units in this price range are 8,000, and don’t have wifi controls.I get extremely uncomfortable in heat (I grew up in Alaska but am living much further south now.. So I’m very sensitive to hot temps) and had really high hopes for this product. At first I was disappointed at how loud it seemed- but once I got it all hooked up and the exhaust duct on and connected to the window, it became much quieter. I quickly realized that the bulk of the noise is the exhaust fan. So when the rear exhaust duct is connected it muffles that sound quite a bit. It still makes some noise, but I’m able to be on zoom calls just a few feet from the unit and it doesn’t affect the audio.One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments is how well the wheels on the bottom work to allow the unit to easily move around. It’s effortless to push the unit in any direction (your only limited by the length of the ducting). So after reading some negative comments saying the unit leaks from the inside, I find it pretty simple to check for this. If you drain it properly, and check the bottom plug ever so often, I don’t think there is anything wrong with this product leaking. I have not experienced this whatsoever. I have drained the bottom plug a few times, which drains any condensation that stays in the unit.All in all, this is a good unit and I’d buy it again.

Was hopeful that this would be as easy as it was claimed to setup and operate, as it was over 90 Degrees in the room I was setting it up in and needing to spend the rest of the day in. It was, I was so thrilled that I ordered the next model in size up for a room I thought would just be hopeless for the hottest days here in sunny food belt California. I already knew it would work beforehand because it was easy enough to set up and move around, that I moved it between the two rooms the first few days.

The unit comes with the wheels on which makes it easy to maneuver. Attractive. Watch an unpacking video just to know what you are looking for.Easy to set up, love the automatic air flow door- opens and closes with on and off button. Good for keeping dust out and safe around kids and pets. The 3 airflow settings are just right- the highest being quite powerful. It begins cooling immediately. We haven't set it up in the window yet- it's March and we are in the Northeast. I haven't tried the remote yet- probably wont use it much. Caution when opening bag with remote, batteries and manual - there is a small screw in there to stabilize the window installation. Very nice- we like it so far

First of all, I read many reviews and compared other similar units. For me personally, this one is perfect. The price was great and free shipping. Other units had a cheaper base price but shipping was 50.00. The product arrived quickly with no damages. The drivers were careful not to tip it on its side as well. It's heavier than I expected, so you may want 2 people to lift it initially. Once out of the box, it rolls easily. (Wheels already attached). In regards to people complaining about noise- it is an air conditioner, - they all make noise. It is no louder than my previous window shaker. I would rather listen to the AC in coolness than sit in my hot apartment. This unit cools and cools fast. The fan on high is super powerful. It cooled 300sq FT no problem. The vent hose gets warm initially as it's removing the hot air, but not so hot you can't touch it (some reviews claimed this lol). Set up is pretty easy. I did watch a video beforehand though. I was careful with the vent hose, as I read some reviews saying it rips easily, but I had no issues. The window adapter is easy to fit any size window. Seriously. I have no complaints. 10/10 recommend.

I live in Canada, but I'm really averse to heat and can't stand indoor temperatures when it's anything higher than 24C (75F) outside. After the heat dome of last year, I swore to myself that I'd get an AC before May of this year, which was a great call because this unit arrived just in time for another heat dome of 27C - 30C (80 to 86F) a day for the upcoming week.My roommate hates AC for whatever reason, so I just wanted something that could cool a very small bedroom (roughly 150 square feet), was affordable, and wasn't a window unit. Based on other reviews, I went for this model (SLPAC105W).Absolutely gets the job done. If it's aimed anywhere in my direction, it has me shivering, so it's almost overkill for a small room. I deliberately take fully cold showers everyday to the point of being quite cold adapted, so believe me when I say that this thing produces some serious coooold. So long to the days of having to spray water on myself and aim a fan in my direction (which barely ever did anything). The cold air comes out within seconds unlike, say, a car's AC, which is a comparison I used because the lowest temperature setting on this thing is 16C (60F), which is the lowest my car's AC does.Installation was quite easy. I will point out that the window attachment was too long for my window of 32 inches, so keep that in mind. I've seen another reviewer mention cutting down the window attachment to fit, but I lack the tools to do this, so I just discarded the slide in part and duct taped some spare plastic to cover the 7 inches of opening that remained. Seemed to form enough of a seal to get the job done and I'm not too concerned with maximal efficiency here.The unit is a lot noisier than I expected, even on "low", which is sort of okay with me considering I like ambient noise and always had an air purifier and tower fan running at all times, but if loud noise bothers you, keep that in mind. My noise cancelling earbuds are strong enough to block out my air purifier and tower fan when both on together and strong enough to block out even the ambient engine noise of my car, but they're not strong enough to block out the noise of this unit. Be mindful of that if the unit is close to your bed. I suppose that's what the sleep timer is for, though I haven't tried that out yet. But better to have a cool room than a hot one, right? Maybe a good idea to run it in the hours leading up to sleep if noise is an issue.Overall, I'm very satisfied. Surpassed my expectations. I used to dread summer and literally preferred even -40C (-40F) Canadian winters, but now I look at the upcoming forecast of back to back 30C (86F) days with optimism knowing I've got this AC handy. Shivering as I type this! Highly recommended.

The weight of the unit is 57 pounds. I noticed in other reviews that people were having trouble following instructions. The piece that attaches to the window mount must be screwed in COUNTER CLOCKWISE. You will probably need several small screws to hold the window mount firmly in place, just like you would a regular AC. It's rather noisy, a bit more than a regular window mounted air conditioner. This does not bother me because I mentally filter out the noise. If you can't do this, this may not be the right product for you. I already have central AC but I wanted my bedroom to be at 63 degrees at night without freezing out the rest of the household. The performance in the cooling area is perfection. If you live in a condo that has rules against window air conditioners, this is just the thing for you. My bedroom is 450 square feet and it totally cools it and quick. The instruction manual isn't that great, which is why people struggle with the installation. The unit is 57 pounds, but you don't have to lift it into the window and remove it in the fall. It's easy to uninstall and roll around. I suggest that the manufacturer have a customer service line to help people with their installation questions. Cons: Instruction manual. Noise level. Lack of customer support. No information on weight in product description. Pros: Portable. Cools quickly. Can be used with unusually shaped windows. No unsightly window AC unit. I hope that helps.

Works well, gets very cold. Use in bedrooms. Like the remote, haven’t been able to get the Bluetooth to work but the machine works great otherwise.

Nice machine, effect in cooling. My main issue with it is, it is on wheels that can not be locked which is a wild choice for a machine that expensive. It is also really loud but that is less of a problem. Overall good machine but some crazy decisions were made in designing it.

AWFUL AIR CONDITIONER WITH MISLEADING CLAIMS. The product description is not accurate. Deafening noise, no swing function or remote. This unit is disruptively loud... no way this is 57 decibels. (Their sound measurement description indicates it's quieter than a refrigerator, but that is 100% untrue. It is unusable in a bedroom, office, nursery, living room... actually, anywhere in a home!) It does not cool even remotely the square footage they say it does. I have another, different brand portable 10,000 btu A/C unit that is outstanding. This one is terrible, promises untrue results, and is not recommended. I only wish I could have returned this, but the Amazon drop off place would not take it because I didn't have the original box. WTF. Waste of $ that I need for other stuff.

Arrived with all installation parts and instructions needed so it was easy to install just like many other reviews have noted. The remote makes it easy to control. I used some stick on Velcro to attach the remote to the unit so the remote is easier to find. The air coming into the room is nice and cold as long as the target temperature is lower than the room temperature. The target temperature is easily adjusted using the remote or the arrow buttons on the unit. It’s loud but the cold air is worth the noise. There are three fan settings and the low setting works great for my small 600 sf apartment. I really appreciate the timer function which allows one hour increments of power on/ cooling / dehumidification/ fan up to 24 hours then turns itself off. The exhaust tube gets very warm so it may be helpful to wrap it in some type of insulation because I have noticed heat radiating back into the room from the exhaust hose. The heat is noticeable from the exhaust tube however the room still gets cool even on low fan speed. I have not tried the dehumidifier feature but I attached the included dehumidifier hose to the unit and placed the end of this hose into an empty 3 quart almond milk container. It probably won’t produce almond milk but it is ready to catch the water whenever I turn on the dehumidifier feature.

This is our first portable A/C unit of this style. Wasn't sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was to hook up and in like 5 minutes you have nice cool air. Works great. It is a bit loud even on low fan but I figure that's because the entire A/C is inside your room so your going to hear it more then you would a window unit. I will probably just buy this style of A/C unit for my house in the future.5 STARS...

I bought this AC/Unit / Heater in February 2022 for my man cave area of the home. At first everything worked great. Heat was warm and A/C was ice cold with absolutely zero issues. To be honest this is a very simple device that is easy to setup and use. Instructions are simple. I was to preface this also stating this unit was NOT heavily used.The noise level is moderate (it is not quiet) but can be tolerated by turning up the TV or surround sound. I did not expect it to be super quiet so this is not an issue.What was an issue is that at the end of July 2022, It stopped working. AC was luke warm at best in the middle of the a Southern US summer. At first I was just going to toss it out and be out 400+ bucks or whatever I paid at that time. Instead I told me wife let’s see about this warranty which I turned over to her to deal with.At the end of July my wife called the company to request warranty assistance via a number found for them on google. She was able to get ahold of somebody who stated that a claim was submitted and we would receive an email within 24-48hrs. We did receive a complaint ticket # or reference number for this call.After 3 days we received no response or email and yes we checked junk mail. My wife called them again and asked what the status was and again was told she would receive an email within 24-48hrs. After 48hrs we again had no response so my wife called them again and was told again we would have an email within 24-48hrs. She used the complaint reference number each time she called.After the 3rd callback she received an email within 24hrs asking if we did all the simple things the directions said to ensure it was broken. Things such as unplug it, clean filters, drain it etc., basically easy stuff I checked 17 times before giving up.My wife emailed back and forth with the representative whom did state that it was covered and they would be sending us a new unit. We had to send them a copy of our Amazon receipt which is totally understandable.Once the new unit shipped we had it within a week. Since that time for the small amount I have used it… it is functioning perfectly. I did plug the old unit back in just to see if the heat function at least worked on it since the AC didn’t but that also did not work.So to wrap up. When the unit is working it does work as expected, it looks nice and is easy to use. The jury is still out for me on the overall quality as I’m on my second unit. The warranty is there but will require some work to get it.I still have the old unit which I will now have to take to a dump or recycle center. I realize things break unexpectedly sometimes and I am glad I didn’t have to shell out another large sum of money on a different brand. We also have a second serine life smaller A/C only unit that has worked for one summer thus far.I am going to have to see how this unit works over the winter of 2022 / Summer of 2023 to fully know if I would buy from them again.I hope this helps somebody on the fence in some way.

I got tired to cooling down the entire lower floor of my house at night, so I bought this AC unit just for the bedroom. It does well to cool down the room in a decent amount of time. Don't expect this unit to be quiet, but in my opinion it is not overly noisy. It does make some strange gurgling sounds from time to time. Setup is fairly easy but make sure to purchase good, thick insulation that goes around the window insert. The window is a normal sized, single window but had to cut down the plastic insert so that it would fit and the hose could be inserted.It will increase your power bill a bit depending on how much it is used, but is still better than using the normal house unit.The one thing that I wish was different is that when turned on, it will only display what temperature that you have set. I would love to also see what the current room temperature is as well, which only shows when the unit is off.I have no experience with other portable AC units, so cannot compare.

Let's write a review for this portable AC I can immediately give 5 stars! A very good air conditioner for the home, easy to install if you follow the instructions, very easy to move on carpet, laminate or parquet. Manula does a great job explaining how to install and why each part is used and how to use it. It fits our window well, there are no air gaps, the pipe is very easy to place where it fits in the window. Not that loud at all, compared to my previous air conditioner, this new air conditioner has even better settings and functions. We are very impressed with this product and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Our living room and kitchen are super cool because we set the temperature to 17 Celsius on the low setting. The delivery was excellent, the package was correct without any damage to the package. No issue with electric fuse works amazing.

I only have one problem with this.They offer a $25 Rebate.But only if you live in the United States I am a Canadian citizen.I believe we have the right to that twenty five dollar rebate too don't you.

Lo que mas me gusto es su versatilidad para moverlo de un lugar a otro, facilidad para instalarlo y la capacidad de enfriamiento, ventilación y calefacción, que aun que no lo he probado aun, creo que tambien sera satisfactorio. Lo que mens me agrado es que si hace un poco mas de ruido que un ventilador y si eres alguien que acostumbra dormir sin ruido, puede ser un inconveniente. Por lo demás muy bien.

Es bueno en general y cubrió mis expectativas. Espero que el consumo de luz no sea tan significativo pero aún no lo sé. Si esperan algo que sea silencioso no es para ustedes. Yo ahora uso tapones en los oídos y puedo dormir bien.

La instalación fue muy fácil de hacer. Si refresca toda la casa de 1 solo piso. Es un poco ruidoso pero lo demás del A/C es de buena calidad. No requiere enchufe ni cable especial, no jala brutalmente la energía al encender, no hay sobrecalentamiento como en otros aparatos. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
