One 40” x 30” bag held several thick microfiber and “tapestry” type throws that I’m not using right now but I want to keep them for future use. They’re thick and bulky; I think I put seven of them in one bag. It’s flat enough to slide under my bed or couch so storage is easy and dust-free.The hand pump included was totally useless. No instructions with it but seemed like no brainer: remove the cap on the seal, screw on the pump, then pump the handle up and down. After several minutes I didn’t see any results at all so I put it aside and used my vacuum cleaner.And a note about that. I have a Shark Navigator Lift-Away (a few yrs old) and it doesn’t have a nozzle that will fit this bag’s valve. Fortunately I saved a connector from another vacuum from long ago thinking it might come in handy one day. Today was that day. It slid right on the vacuum’s hose end while the smaller end was the perfect fit for the valve on the bag. It worked great and the bag was deflated in seconds. So maybe keep that in mind and check to see what your vacuum has. I attached two pictures of the adapter I used as well as two pictures of the size of the valve opening using a ruler. Your vacuum hose needs to fit snugly around that.Also not very clearly pictured is a clear round tag that I dated and attached to the bag. That will let me know how long the bag stays sealed. I didn’t want to start marking on the bag as I expect to reuse it multiple times. I can peel the tag off easily but that’s not a big deal if you don’t have anything similar. You could use masking tape, etc., if you wanted to do the same.The bag does seem sturdy and the zip closer is strong but make sure it’s closed tightly. I pressed firmly and ran my fingers over it end to end several times to make sure it was sealed. The cap on the valve is very easy to use and screws on quickly so no air gets back in the bag. Make sure you screw the cap on straight; if it goes on crooked it will let air back inside the bag and reinflate.Right now I’m happy with it but time will tell. I gave it four stars on easy to use because of the pump. If anyone knows “the secret” to that or what I might be doing wrong, I’d be interested to know. The pump would be great to take on a trip along with some smaller bags as it’s plastic, very light, and only about 9-1/2” long. But not so much if it doesn’t work.I’m curious to see how it holds up long term.

I read a million reviews before I buy anything. I searched and searched for a jumbo sized vacuum sealed bag I could use to take my body pillow on trips with me. I really don't sleep well without it! I usually shove it in my suitcase somehow but decided this time to see if I could find a way to make it smaller. I looked at some that came with an electric pump, but chose to do this one because of the low cost and the good reviews. I have pictures of before and after from different angles. My daughter and I only spent maybe 5 minutes with that hand pump, so definitely not a deal breaker to have that instead of an electric one. I think it will work great for traveling for me.

I purchased the jumbo bags. Pretty self explanatory to use. They come with a pump which does work. It takes longer with the pump so if you have a vacuum I’m sure it will take just seconds. Great space saver bags.

Not only do I travel a ton I started using the bags in different ways. If one of your bags is getting "ratty" so to speak you can use it for shoes. YES shoes put your heels or sneakers in grocery bags then organize/vacuum . This has been a game changer for us because well my wife wants to fly with every shoe she can but always fears them being damaged.Cruise-updateAs you may or may not know everything you pack in these bags gets wrinkled beyond belief so we hang everything in the shower and let the steam work for us.Pillows-If you dont like using them where you travel the bags do wonders for packing one or even 2 easily for a tripMoving -Be creative - I only wish I had these every time Ive moved you can literally pack your entire closet. No more boxing a few items at a timeDress clothes-If you have suites or dresses fold them ( if you don't already know learn how to fold a suit jacket -youtube) then place everything that is nice in one bag **do not vacuum** let just enough air out so theres a kind of air cushion. You can thank me later !! LolTravelling from warm to freezing environment- stuff your goose down jacket in the smallest bag and throw it in a carry on.And finally hiking/camping / kayaking - we are outdoor people and I use the vacuum bags for every situation. If you canoe or kayak you've been missing out they keep everything organized but also "dry" . When camping and hiking I've used these to keep clothes dry and small enough in my pack along with shrinking my sleeping bag and keeping it from the elements.Ok that was a complete brain dump - I hope this helps even 1 person--------------------------------------save tons of space.we travel a lot and these are amazing.If your a cruiser like us these bags are perfect.**tip**1. the hand pump is ok but tiring to use. the vacuum method is the way to go. with that said when your leaving from your cruise just grab the vacuum form house keeping they are always around. Re-pack your belongings and your good to go.2. if you like to buy liquor when your travelling and you don't have a fancy bag to put the bottle in. these bags are small and can fit anywhere when not filled up. toss a bottle in that's wrapped in a couple shirts or a towel. Something that wouldn't be ruined if the bottle did break. Do the old hand pump method "I don't suggest vacuuming this" and now your bottle is fly ready. This has worked for me several times!! Good Luck!!oh ya and the company is awesome if the bags don't work out they will work with you on return or replacement.

I couldn't believe how small we can get things to pack down. The shape can get pretty awkward afterwards , but if you're just jamming it in a tote afterwards, who cares. Folded clothes held a better, stackable shape than say, a duvet and big down pillow. We got a lofty queen duvet and thick down pillow to suck down to the size of a basketball. Now will it affect future loft? Maybe. I'm not too sure as it's still packed away. But for their purpose, these do save space. Our of the 10 I've used, one leaked and it was probably from us being rough with it .All in all, I would recommend these when they go on sale. They're kind of pricy otherwise.

I got these Jumbo Vacuum Storage Bags to store my clothes and pack for different travels. When I got the pack one of the bags was not working, there was a hole in it and it was not keeping the air out. The others worked very well, I used them several times and they are still working. I needed to use an actual vacuum to take all the air out of the bag because doing it manually, with the piece that is given with the bags, takes forever. In general very good quality and lots of room to store clothes, blankets, and so on.

Space bags worked really well for winter clothes so far a few months ago used a vacuum cleaner to pack these so idk how well the pump works thats included in pkg ,space bags are durable plastic with heavy air bag lid that stays on reasonably priced for quality

These space saver bags are wonderful. I like that they have a lifetime guarantee. The pump is very nice. The bags can be used for traveling because of the very handy pump. I bought them to put fleece and batting in primarily. Also used to store winter clothes and sweaters. Screw on lid makes them more likely to stay compressed.

I bought these to store our enormous king sized electric mattress pads, pillow shams, and bedspreads. It takes just a couple minutes to get these all packed up and into storage at 1/3 the space. Fantastic, easy, fast solution. These fit any vacuum. So fast.

My linen closet was overwhelming and my New Years Resolutions were to try to get better organized. Thus my purchase of the Space Saver bags which I got 6 of the large. Toda I took everything out of my linen closet and packed up all my children’s baby blankets, homemade afghans, quilts, that were overcrowding my space and yet I wanted to save these items for my children. Well these bags took everything I needed to pack and now I have a neat pile of 6 storage bags dust free and fit perfectly leaving my four shelves for my sheets pillowcases and duvet covers that I use weekly and so much nicer to get at. Thank you for these bags I will definitely buy again. I used my upright shark vacuum to suck out the air and it worked perfectly.

These worked great and were heavy duty, the vacuum works great for taking the air out before you go, and the pump is just as good for when you’re on your way back. Easy and user friendly. Packed my parka no problem and I wouldn’t have been able to bring it otherwise.

Very effective at getting the air out and making it compact. I’m impressed but was definitely skeptical about it. I bought the pack of bags that came with the hand pump and it’s totally worth it and handy to have. I bought the 6 large pack and worked wonders for my fuzzy plush blankets from Walmart and packed in other blankets. Even my sleeping bag. Used the, for my bed sheets and extra clothes I don’t wear often. Worked out just great! Really want to buy small and medium size bags.

I contacted the company and asked if they could send me a replacement vacuum, they responded immediately and then sent me an entire new box of bags with the electric vacuum. Great space saving for my comforters and blankets. I'm obsessed with this product now. Strong seal and suction. Thick enough to avoid rips. Comes with an apparatus to close the zipper.

If your an over packer meet your new life saver. I have had my bags for 2 years and used it multiple times. The variety of size bags is great. I haven’t had issues with any air leaking out after using the vacuum seal. The quality of the pump is also really good and easy to transport with you without taking up to much space. You’re definitely getting so much value from this product.

Our closet was so bad we had to put stuff in and then close it real fast. So far these are working great we put our large quilts and blankets in there and can store them on the floor because They are totally sealed. The items take up less than half the room they did before it’s amazing.

Looks like they've improved the valve and the seal, which is pretty much the whole deal. This little electric pump works much better than I thought it would and had no trouble at all taking the air out of some pillows. But now here's the thing that gets my eyebrow up about the pump and the sell; they say "Electric Pump for Travel!" but the thing is 120V ONLY! Most electrical devices can handle 120-240 volts without switching these days, so if you want this for travel, make sure it's domestic travel. :-D D-:Back to the bags, (and travel), I remember years ago one of my colleagues thought he was being smart and packed a bunch of these bags on a trip to China. We got there and he shopped like a bandit and then sucked everything down to these bricks of fabric etc. and filled the expandable suitcase he bought to its limit. It was the saddest and also the funniest thing I ever saw when he tried to lift it. Remember folks, fabric is HEAVY!! So maybe there not so great for travel. Use UPS instead. :-DThe bags are incredible space savers at home though. Like I said, I took the air out of three pillows and now they all take up the space of one pillow and I can fit them all in the chest with no trouble. Great bags. View the hype with one eyebrow up.

Would do 0 stars since pump didn’t work. Bags were good quality and sealed perfectly. Unfortunately not worth the value of the money since pump didn’t work, would suggest buying one with hand pump it’s extra work but always works and no chance of it not working.
