Comes with everything needed to get a good fire going. Great for outdoors. Bag is a bit bulky and big but moving the included materials to a new container help keep everything in good shape.

This kit is a good start or base to build a custom kit from ... What I mean is that this kit has what you need basically but YOU need to make it yours based on your needs and/or experience.I added a couple of BIC lighters, some tin foil, a small bandana, a fire wick tube (MAKE YOUR OWN !) and a cotton chuck-nut (no idea how it's spelled) or as we used to call them a gnute... You make them with cotton rope and a piece of 1/4 inch copper tubing.. Char the end of the rope and the rope will take a spark from a flint and steel or magnifying glass just like char cloth but the gnute is longer and sturdier.Anyway...This kit has a tin to boil water... Well you can see what the kit has by looking at the pics or reading the description.-------------------- IN CONCLUSION --------------------------This is a very good kit with a good selection of items that YOU need to learn to use NOW before an emergency situation.I think that this kit should be in every persons vehicle or day pack for "Just in case"... But this is just my opinion.

I love the smell of fat wood. This is a great fire kit. I love the waxed canvas bag and the metal tin that holds it all. I love that it came with metal containers to make and store char cloth. I love the perfectly sized fire steal and the fat rope fire timber. Love the chunks and shavings of aromatic fat wood. Did I mention I love that smell? I love in texas so I don't always get to work with good fat wood and this stuff at least gives me a little scent of it. I plan on giving these kits to all my buddies in the future and will be adding to it and taking mine with me on every adventure I go on.

I’m in love with this fire kit. It came in a really nice box, the bag is great, you can use the leather patches as strops for doing the finishing touches on knifes or to keep them sharp once sharpened, and it comes with great items for a fire kit.

Nice start to a fire kit

This is an excellent fire kit. It's about 85% complete I added a couple more things... like a Bic lighter with Gorilla tape wrapped around it and a extra small silky saw and I'm good to go.!! The bag and the Tin are worth the cost in itself ...good investment!

Well Titan I never thought I would ever give you guys less than 5 stars, and this is really kinda nit-picky But I have to admit of all of your products I have bought to date (and there have been a lot of them) I was never able to nit-pick because they were all home runs. But I have to be honest I did find two things I wasn't exactly pleased with. 1. the ad I saw about this kit said the bag was tied with survivor cord and I would have expected that anyway coming from you, but alas it was tied with some cheap thing I couldn't even id. I don't think it was cotton cause it didn't hold a spark, I replaced it with some survivor cord I had laying around. 2. Guys I've seen 2X4's with more pitch in them than that "fat" wood, it's really supposed to be something that will take a spark, it is an Emergency fire kit after all.P.S. if you check you will see that ALL of my other reviews of your products have been through the roof 5 star reviews you will see that I am not one to pound sand. That being said this is a very nice kit and well thought out, that's why it got 4 stars and yes I would still recommend it.

Sent me two right hand mittens first time . No charge to return and sent me right/left now .Was looking at fur mittens that sell for hundreds of dollars . These are a Great Value at $ 39.99 .Usually take a large glove but the medium in these fit me fine . Buy one size down on these .Recommend these Mittens .
