Although these arrived 3 days late, they work absolutely great.. btw: the plug and cord are inside the bottom of the machine.. Very easy to put together, set them up, ran for 12 hours and caught a bunch.. I bought 2 and both were filled with knats in the 12 hour span.. They are super quiet and they work as described..

I live in an apartment, and one of my neighbors had a bad fly and gnat problem that carried into our unit. I bought two of these suckers, and it sucked the gnats in by the hundreds. Very quiet, bright and easy to use.

Works best at night when light is brightest to attract the most. Checked it after first 2 hours of use and sticky had about 20 gnats on it so it works great.

It catches a lot of insects

It's inexpensive and pretty lightweight. The micro usb socket in the back is slightly loose.That said, I'm glad I got this insect trap. Initially, I had my doubts on it working, but I've had it running for a week and a few days now, and it's caught quite a few (even without using the mosquito attractant). I haven't had any issues with gnats on my screen mistaking it for the sun or tiny mosquitoes harassing my calves. As far as the sticky pads go, I'm still on the first of 10 provided. I also have it set to turn on when the sensor detects low light. The suction fan is quiet, but effective.Update (9/27/23): This trap works too well. I replaced the sticky pad from the original review with a fresh one and decided to leave it for a month (8/25). I added a new picture. It caught 2 times the amount of bugs compared to my first use. I hate the idea that there's a lot of gnats in my room, but at least this trap does what it's supposed to do.

Getting bugs it does work great. I've had mine a little and now it seems like it's getting louder and louder and no matter what surface it vibrates around on it.

I have ruined all three that I bought. A simple bump or tip over ruins the fan blade and the device is useless at that point.

The good news is that it works.The bad news is that it works for like a week. The power supply connector goes bad and it stops getting power. It then becomes a $35 paperweight. Good luck.
