I love this. We have it in 36” and now 45”. Once you learn how to fold it back up it’s not hard. You can watch a video on YouTube which was easier than the instructions for me. We have 2 Papillons and both sizes are great. We bought these for when we travel and take the dogs or when we go somewhere like an outdoor concert and can take them. We also use it as a ball pit for them to hunt treats. This is truly a great value for the money.

Have been using this play pen for couple of years. Has held up like new. Used for both a dog and a kitten. The zip on roof came in real handy for the kitten

* folding instructions at the bottomI love this already! I got an extra small for my puppy, he is about 3 lb and 7.5 weeks. I don't anticipate him outgrowing it. I wanted it on the smaller side, because I wanted to use it as an alternative to a crate. So glad I chose it!Durability:He's a small dog so I don't know about large dogs, but the fabric of the mesh and walls are strong, I was surprised. He's more likely to hurt his nails than tear through it. He tried to slam his face into it first night, so I was actually happy it was softer, so it didn't hurt him.Portability:It's excellent. He can fall asleep in it in the family room and with him still sleeping, I can lift it into the bedroom, so he's there when he wakes up. Not something you can do with a metal crate.Folding:Unfolding was easy. Folding was a challenge. The instructions don't make sense. It took me 45 minutes to figure it out. BUT then I realized the pictures have faint arrows on them in green. I drew over them in dark marker. Following those arrows help a lot.Better instructions to go with the pictures:* As you go through the steps the floor will get bunched up in the folds, push the floor out the bottom so it doesn't get tangled during folding process.1. Remove mesh top.2. Label the panels like a clock with panel 1 being at the top of the photograph and panel 4 being the door.3. Locate the hanging band between panels 6 & 7. This band needs to stay on the outside.4. Pop in the adjacent pole to the right of the band (between panel 5 &6).5. Fold panel 6 into panel 7 (far left corner). Bunch it so it lays flat.6. Pop in the pole between panels 8 and 1. Top left corner. Similarly, bunch panels 8 and 1 together so they lay flat.7. You will be left with a square made up of panels 2, 3, 4. Pop in the pole between panels 3 and 4.8. Fold panel 3 over panel 4, so that the Zampa logo is not showing. All panels should be pressed flat together. (Do not force any folds, you may stretch the metal wiring inside.)9. If it doesn't lay flat, the floor may be caught between the folds. Repeat instructions while making sure to push the floor out the bottom so it hangs loose.10. After the panels lays flat together, fold the floor over the top and wrap with band.11. Ready for carry case!Hope this helps! Don't not buy it, because you are worried about the folding issue. You will figure it out!

The playpen is easy to assemble, but it's not the best option for energetic puppies. My pup always manages to flip it upside down and unzip the zipper to escape 😅. When she's outside the playpen, she also loves to grab it with her mouth, drag it around, and chew on it. It’s great for calmer dogs, but not the best for puppies with a lot of energy!

Really happy with the Zampa portable kennel / playpen. I purchased this for my 19-year-old schnauzer who has canine dementia and is prone to wandering, confusion, and incontinence. It is perfect to keep her comfortably contained while I am working and can't supervise her constantly. She is about 19 lb and the 36x36x24 inch small size is perfect for her. She has plenty of room to stretch out plus room for her food bowl and a water bottle as well. The bottom is made of a good quality waterproof material to protect the underlying floor and I cover it with a waterproof pad (also purchased from Amazon) which is very soft and it makes it a comfortable space for her to relax while I'm working. The compact size makes it perfect for use indoors as it doesn't take up space and fits nicely in the corner of the living room. Two zippered mesh doors for versatility. Our cat must like it too because I find her in there from time to time. Overall, this is a very well made playpen. The pop-up style made it really easy to set up in less than a minute with absolutely no effort. I don't use the mesh top but I can see where it would be helpful if using outdoors. I like that it comes with a carrying /storage bag and stakes for outdoor use. Highly recommend this product.

I use this for my chinchillas to play in at my family’s home. It works great, very big!

A friend recommended this to me and I wanted to have it here before my puppy got here. First of all I ordered a medium thinking I would have plenty of room for a puppy Maltese to grow into. I opened it up and the first think I saw was the loose thread in the picture. Also, it is not 45" if I really stretched it from corner to corner I might have been able to get 43" out of it otherwise its more like 41" Second after looking at it opened with a very small puppy bed in it, I don't think there would be much room to grow into especially if there is food and water in there. I am returning this because I don't like buying new expensive items that come falling apart at the seems already. That is one reason. I am going to give it another try. Oh and for those who said its easy to fold back up they lied. Don't expect to just take this out of the case and fold it back up easily and go on your merry way. It was not easy to fold up and almost impossible once folded to get back in the bag.**Update I received a replacement. I could tell by looking at the box it had been opened. I really like this but wonder for the money if its worth it. As you can see in the 2nd and 3rd pics, the 2nd item came damaged as well. I didn't even have it opened up and there were threads all over. When I opened it, the threads were coming out in some places.

This product has not yet been tested with a puppy (coming in a few weeks—will possibly update then [but probably not]).That being said, this product feels better made than expected, with solid materials that feel like they can put up with pets. Unfolds nice and easy in mere seconds. The floor is attached (not velcro) and there are tent pegs and tent peg holes for keeping it grounded outside if needed. There is a carrying bag that is as sturdy feeling (and it seems, uses the same material) as the playpen itself.Folding it up and putting it away, like others have said, can be a bit cumbersome. Following instructions help, but the floor just seems to flop about—not a negative, just an observation. Otherwise, just think of it as making an 'M' with the bottom left being where the strap should be (or like a 'W' with the top right being where the strap should be—I'm pro letter-folding choice, you could even do a '3' or 'E' [ish]). I think part of the difficulty with folding up and putting away comes from the sturdiness of the product (or maybe I just suck at putting it away/following instructions, but probably the product sturdiness).Bought the medium size (45" x 45") and it looks large enough for the cavapoo puppy we'll be getting, and should be able to hold a pee pad, food dishes and a small bed/cushion.Overall, very pleased with this purchase: strong, sturdy material; good quality carrying bag; easy to setup; somewhat easy to put away; and great value. Colour choices are meh, but #firstworldproblems, I guess.
