I love how sturdy this tool is and being curved makes it feel like you have even more force available. Many, I feel like would just bend if I wasn't careful. I think the magnet claims are just a little exaggerated but works well enough.

I watched the video on how to properly use this. With the little twist at the end, it really does a great job of repairing ball marks on the green. Plus, the magnet does a nice job of helping my ball marker stay attached. The only thing I can't be sure of yet is durability and longevity.

Have used this for years. No more digging in my pockets for a ball marker, since it is always stuck to this divot tool. Long lasting…if you loose the market, it can be ordered separately.

This thing is pretty hefty; a very solid little tool that could also work as a self-defense weapon, lol. It works well for fixing ball marks by using the poking technique rather than pulling or prying (the latter being definitely wrong). Poking holes around the mark loosens the turf enough that then tapping with the putter pushes things back together. This doesn't damage the roots as much as even the pulling method (pulling the sides of the hole back together). This tool will work for that as well, for example on a really deep mark, but the tines are pretty wide so it's not really what it's designed for.My problem with it, apart from the large size, is that the loose ball mark thing in the handle makes it a bit uncomfortable to use--it digs into the palm of my hand a little (I'm that person who fixes multiple marks on each green). Not a big deal, and it's handy to have an extra ball mark around for when you have to mark someone else's ball in addition to your own, but it would be better to have it embedded in the side of the thing rather than sticking out the top. OTOH, the scooped shape of the top will work well for holding a club grip up off wet turf.

The magnet is weak and only usable with the included ball marker. The tool itself is rather big. I had hoped it would work with any metal ball marker, but it doesn't.Not sure how long it'll last either. It's not a solid piece and I think the top half is a thick plastic. The tool itself seems to be cheaply made, even tho the product photo looks sharp. The concept of securing a ball marker is great but it's barely seated inside of it. If the magnet was stronger and the housing a solid metal, it'd be perfect.I'm expecting the ball marker will disappear one day.

This tool was very versatile and useful before it broke. I truly enjoyed using it while golfing, but became very disappointed when it broke at the twin prongs. Probably will not purchase another.

Tool fell apart during second use. Apparently two pieces are just glued together. But glue did not hold. I am replacing item. Hopefully I get a better one. Also, I have to waste my time returning the item when I should just throw it in the trash.Update to original review:Item has gone from bad to worse.I ordered this divot repair tool on February 22, 2024.
