The 1st time I used it I could immediately feel it working. I've been using it for only 2 weeks and I already see a beautiful dramatic improvement in my skin. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! I feel like my skin is so much prettier and healthier! And you only have to use it at night.

Goodness, what to say. I have very sensitive skin, and many products make my skin red and angry, or make me break out. I have a very sensitive nose, and most skin care products make me ill due to fragrances, even 'fragrance free' products. This moisturizer makes my skin soft and supple without irritating it, and extremely mild scent it has (just from the ingredients) goes away within ten minutes of spreading it on my skin (and my partner can't smell it at all - just my sensitive nose). I haven't gotten any directly in my eye, but most products even near my eye will make my eyes sting, and I haven't noticed that so far. I would say that this seems to be healing my skin, but I do use a different moisturizer in the morning, to avoid deactivating the retinol. This moisturizer is very light and absorbs quickly, and I like to have a bit of a protective barrier during the day if I'm not wearing sunscreen, keep my skin dewy. :)I will come back to this review in a month or two, see how it treats my skin over time, as retinol is definitely something that takes time to work. I'm fairly certain the skin around my eyes is already improved, less delicate and sunken, but it's only been a few days. I am 27, so barely seeing the signs of aging, but I'm happy to be starting early with giving my skin what it needs to be healthy and beautiful.I didn't have any trouble with the pump, and I like that I can dispense a very small amount at a time. The bottle is very pleasing to hold, and a good shape.

This moisturizer is great!! It is light weight and absorbs quickly. I can see the difference in my skin and constantly receive compliments. I tell everyone about Tree of Life products because they are so effective and are so reasonably priced. I use many of the products in the Tree of Life skin care line and have yet to be disappointed. I want to address a review I just read on here. Someone gave a 2 star review claiming that the company falsely advertised hyaluronic acid as an ingredient in this moisturizer and even posted a picture of the ingredients to "prove" their claim. Not only can they not see very well or read very well but 167 people found this review helpful so they must not be able to see or read either. The botanical hyaluronic acid is clearly listed in the picture they posted. Read it for yourself. You will not be dissatisfied with this moisturizer and I appreciate a company that provides such great products and offers them at such a reasonable price. They don't deserve a bad review like. THAT "makes me mad."

I love Tree of Life products! This moisturizer is amazing. Gentle on the skin and a really nice natural ingredients feel to it. I used to spend a fortune on high street skin care brands that don’t live up to expectations.

First of all, I love how this product is so inexpensive and affordable unlike other brands. And for 2% of retinol!!! I think that’s amazing for the price. I already see a bit of change in my skin, and I’ve only been using this product for 2 nights. I 100% recommended and I will definitely be repurchasing when I finish the cream.

Been using this for a while now and seeing visible results. The moisturizer applies easily and feels very light. I have some blemishes that are already clearing up and red spots seem to be getting lighter! Also using it as an aftertreatment for chemical peels and it seems to work great. Great value for money too.

I have only received the product recently but from the first few nights it is leaving my skin soft, is not greasy to apply but feels like it is doing something.I plan to give it more time to really know but would recommend in the first instance if you are looking for something with these ingredients.

I really would like to know how much retinol is actually is in this formulation. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with this moisturizer. It goes on thinly and it's a nice enough moisturizer, but after well over a month of use, I have seen no change in the appearance of my skin. If you have dry skin, I don't think you will find this moisturizing enough. If you prefer a lighter moisturizer, then this is a good choice. If you really want an antiaging product, then I'd try one that states at least 1% retinol and work your way up to daily use. How fast you can start using a 1% formulation daily entirely depends on your skin type. I have a tube of 1% retinol that I started using a while ago starting with just my forehead. I found it a bit drying (flakiness) at first, but persisted, and now I can use it daily with no problem. I am also starting to notice positive changes in some fine lines that have become shallower in less than a month. My skin is smoother and more even too. I may have a way to go, but I'm a determined gal-good luck Update:7/1/15-Despite my wondering if this Retinol Cream had enough of a percentage of Retinol in it, I have continued to use it. I even bought my second bottle a while back. I have discovered over time that it seems to be working. I don't think I gave it enough time to do its thing since it is a milder form of retinol. What I did find out was that in my using a 1% retinol on certain areas of my face (forehead, between the eyes) last winter, that I was having an increased problem with dryness and flakiness in those areas. So now I am only using the Tree of Life Retinol Moisturizer and finding that my face is showing improvement (except when I do have a Rosacea flare, I don't use it then). I'm seeing some decreases in fine lines on my forehead, between my eyes, and on my upper lip and upper chin areas. I'm still not seeing any changes in the marionette lines. I especially like using it on my neck & chest area as my only moisturizer. I do use an additional moisturizer on my cheeks & temples where my skin is very dry. In my t-zone this moisturizer is sufficient in the summer months. It has a nice consistency--smooth, very spreadable, soft feeling. And my favorite fact about it is that there are no silicones at all (such as dimethicone) in it which tend to cause me plugged up pores. It's also loaded with other great ingredients for the face too such as aloe and hyaluronic acid (holds 1000X it's weight in water thus keeping the face plumped up and moist). Yes, my opinion has changed for the better, so IMO it is better to watch your progress over a longer period of time than 1 month to really see results.

Very disappointed and rather grossed out to find bee biproduct in this moisturizer.I didn't notice till I looked at the ingredients closely after using it for a few nights, and noticed "Bee Glue (Propolis)" listed about 2/3 of the way down on the ingredients. Ewwww.The description of this product says vegan and cruelty free - they need to correct it to just say 'natural'.That being said, the product did make my skin smoother, but the effect is gone if you skip a night or two.If they corrected the formula to actually be vegan I might consider purchasing it again.I really wanted to like it...

I’ve been using the retinol solution for years as my base under my moisturizer. I use it before I do the skin roller. I needed something that was not oil based this is water based.

I was impressed with how well this worked. I'm not sure why i see all the complaints about the droppers. They work just fine. I think the problem is in how thick the liquid is. No dropper is going to work great with such a thick liquid.

Tightens skin, feels softer, looks brighter.

I know tons of people buy this stuff, and I guess that’s why I did, but it doesn’t seem to do anything for my skin. I’ve been using both daily for a couple of months now and noticed no difference…until a week ago when I added in a Sonage vitamin C serum in the AM, that has helped a lot. I will try a different brand and hope for results.

This is the 3rd time I’ve repurchased these two serums. I have very sensitive skin and I actually am allergic to a lot of things when it comes to skincare. I have PCOS and I don’t take the best care of my skin in general. I notice a huge huge difference in my skin when I have these and use them regularly. It doesn’t take a lot, and it’s 100% worth the price. My skin is glowing in the morning when I’ve used these the night before. Whoever formulated these I owe you my life. It also is amazing that they’re consistently kept at such an affordable price, especially right now with how expensive things like this can be.

These are great products for your face. They moisturizer and just feel good.

Arrived on time and very well packaged. I particularly liked the plain, easy to use, no-nonsense bottle. I'm 2 days into using it so a little early to comment on results but if has a lovely texture and softened my skin on application.

Been using these serums for a little over a week now and the texture of my skin has transformed. Gone from dry and dull looking to soft and glowing. I read the reviews before ordering and was expecting a more of a harshness from the retinol but when it's on I can barely feel anything. Which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing? But either way I would highly recommend these and will definitely be purchasing again. Just make sure you use a moisturizer with an spf of 30 if you are in the sun or are partial to a sunbed.

I use this along with the vitamin c and retinol. My skin definitely feels plumper, is clearer and has a nice glow.

The ingredients in the formula, check out. It is the kind of formula that I've been looking for, for a long time. I have yet to use them, so can't say if they work yet or not. (But I will update this if I can when I have tried them). I really like the droppers as they provide just the exact amount that you need. Even though these are 'small' bottles, a little goes a long way. Definitely think they're worth it for the price! What have you got to lose? Except your wrinkles... Buy it!

I recently started getting into skin care. I was always into makeup and as I aged, I was noticing that my skin didn't always want to play nice with my makeup. I always had relatively normal skin but I never really used products for my skin or had a skin care routine. After doing some research, I came upon serums, and felt they would make for a good part of my skin care routine. I chose these ones because they were natural and had good reviews. The price point was good as well. I hAve been using them now for a few months (Regularly but not consistently) and when I don't use them, I definitely feel the difference in my skin. When I use them my skin feels softer and more supple. My routine consists of a deep scrub, witch hazel toner, serum (retinol for PM and Vitamin C for AM), followed by a moisturizer with Hyaluronic acid in it. I love these products. The smell isn't overbearing, and it doesn't make me itch or break out. Will buy again.

Make sure to research the product for your skin type before incorporating a retinol into your routine. Your skin will purge and it is normal. Mine purged for about a month and that's with slowly increasing how often I used it. I am African American for reference. I started with once a week for a week or so and then increased to twice and now I'm up to 3 times a week. Honest should have taken it slower in the beginning so I suggest once a week for 3 weeks twice for 3 weeks and so on. I wouldn't recommend more than 3x a week personally. Also stick to the basics in the beginning. U don't want to mix too many products when ur just getting used to the retinol. I don't use them together. I use vitamin c and hyolarunic acid in the mornings with sunscreen and retinol 3x a week at night only with a moisturizer. My complexion is more even, dark circles have improved

First, I would like to review the TOLB Retinol Serum. I find this serum to be gentle enough for my sensitive, combination/dry skin. I find that it's not as harsh as prescription strength Retin A or even The Ordinary retinol serums and emulsion. I tend to get dry patches on my skin and retinol as well as ascorbic acid, makes them worse. This retinol serum (or the Vitamin C Serum) doesn't have that effect on my skin, yet it is still very effective. I only use this retinol two to three nights per week and I always exfoliate the next morning. I recommend this especially if your skin is sensitive or dry.Now for the Vitamin C Serum. I absolutely love the ingredients in this serum and that the Vitamin C derivative is sodium ascorbyl phosphate, which is much more gentler and stable than ascorbic acid, yet still effective. I use this every morning and my skin is always bright, hydrated, and supple. I do not find this serum sticky like The Ordinary's Ascorbyl Glucoside or as harsh as their other Vitamin C Serums. Don't get me wrong, I love The Ordinary's products as I use their Buffet, Caffeine, and Argireline Serums; I just cannot use their active serums. I also recommend TOLB Vitamin C serum for those with sensitive and/or dry skin.By the way, my skincare consists of a 10-step K-Beauty(ish) routine.

As i’ve lived all my life in Hawaii, I unfortunately received a lot of sun resulting in sun spots and discoloration on my arms and chest.Since recently using these products twice daily, my skin texture and appearance has greatly improved!!I am very happy with this combo and also very happy with the pricing.

Got this for xmas off my wish list. Didnt realize they were 2 separate bottles. Not sure how to use it properly for the max effect. They are both really thick and dont want to load or come out of the droppers that are in the bottles for dispension of the product. Havent used it long enough to say if it 'did' anything or not. Looking for lighter sun spots and less dry flakiness. We shall see.

I bought the Tree of Life Beauty Vit Serum and Retinol serum set, received them within a few days since I mistakenly marked the No Rush shipping box. Wait! Never mark no rush when it's about your skin. There really is an emergency going on with my skin. Rough and blotchy making me so unhappy! This Vitamin C serum is supposed to take a while to begin working. What? It worked right out of the bottle for me. Seriously. I can feel a tightening in my skin and a glow. From past experience with Vit C serum, I know it does help with smoothing out blotchy discolorations (which are a result of getting older and also working in a chemical factory I believe) I do hope I see more improvement over time that would be worth a thousand times what I paid for the bottle. Speaking of which some Vit C serum brands are vastly more expensive and I have tried a few different brands now. ToLB serum is very reasonably priced and I really see no difference between this and the more expensive brands. The retinol serum is new for me so I cant really comment on how effective it will be.

So I gave 5* for "scent" because these Have no scent, and I prefer it that way, lol.The Vitamin C serum absorbs a little bit sticky, and the Retinol one absorbs dry, so I don't know if I would call them "moisturizing".But having said those two things, OH HOLY WOW are these serums effective and awesome! The little bunchies of fine lines and wrinkies under my eyes and between my brows are nearly gone now... And my under-eye bags are slowly smoothing out. Other, deeper, lines are smoothing as well...they probably won't go away completely but. Really can't ask too too much of a serum.These are also doing a fantasic job of evening out my skin tone. I honestly can't say enough good things about these serums. I have defo found my fountain.

Only received this couple days ago and I am already hooked. The retinol is amazing. Good texture. Goes on well. Extremely good value for money. Time will tell if it makes any difference to my 40+ year old skin but I have very high hopes
